Hostel Ka'beh Cancun
Our volunteer position offers the best of both worlds: you get to enjoy the Hostel and our little corner of paradise as part of the team, but only work part time, and stay on-site just like our paying travelers.
We believe travel is fundamental to living a more fulfilled life, enriched by the perspective and invaluable experience that can only come from being surrounded by languages, people, nature, and cultures unlike your own__ It’s because of this, as a business, we’re committed to maintaining a team as culturally and linguistically diverse and balanced as possible. We believe in helping weary travelers coming through our doors have the experience of a lifetime, no matter what side of the reception desk they sit on, and doing everything we can to maintain the unique environment that our special hostel been known for since day one: an incredibly social environment.

Hostel Ka'Beh is a special place full of vibrant people especially those in leadership. It is a party hostel so socialization is heavily emphasized. The team was almost always well suited for the place, so it felt easy to meet new friends. It's located in the heart of Cancun and there is plenty to do around. In addition to going out with other volunteers and guests to the clubs, there are also opportunities to take advantage of tours which is an awesome bonus. There is also a trip to a unique beach daily. The workload can be heavy - not all the time & in reality it's fun. 10/10 recommend.

Sin duda alguna voy a echar de menos este lugar que fue mi casa durante 1 mes. Gracias a todo el staff y sobre todo a todos los voluntarios por hacer de esta experiencia un 10. Sin duda alguna lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

This was my first Worldpackers. Overall it was amazing I met so many people and made so many friendships.
However the work is not the best, I worked reception, your hours and schedules will be all over the place, making it hard to explore and travel while not being exhausted. the work itself was not terrible however there is a lack of communication of what needs to be done “the right way” The housing is not ideal. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. Bathrooms are dirty, and laundry is not the best setup as well.
Overall amazing atmosphere, Communication and housing can be improved.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié ma première expérience au sein de l’hostel. L’accueil a été très chaleureux, les horaires sont respectés et les tâches demandés également. L’accès gratuits et libre a certaines nourriture est un vrai plus. Les gérants et les managers sont très à l’écoute et attentifs à nos demandes et réactifs si on a des problèmes particulier. En revanche qui concerne l’hébergement les lits ne sont pas du tout confortable et les conditions de propreté (moisissure, saleté, état de la salle de bain) sont très limités. Dans l’ensemble j’ai passé une très bonne expérience. Encore merci !
