My experience at the Center was excellent, it was great to connect with such good people and be in such a peaceful environment. I had the opportunity to learn about meditation and connect with the locals. I worked almost exclusively in the cafeteria, which was very tiring and had less time to rest, but it was a great learning opportunity. Thank you so much to the whole team who were patient and lovely!

I spent 3 weeks at the Center, and the whole team is very kind and willing to help and guide with the tasks. Some shifts can be heavier than others. In grounds the work can be more physical, and in the café you work longer hours than in the other shifts since there is less time for breaks and lunch. Overall the experience was great and I had fun doing all the tasks. The food provided is very good, with fruits and other snacks always available, and even though I am not vegetarian, I did not miss meat or protein at all. I recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful experience with Buddhism.

My experience at the Center was really good. Sam and Donna were so great and welcoming. The place is beautiful and the nature is everywhere. I worked at the cafe and sometime in the kitchen, the work hours are as described. Overall, I had good a peaceful time at the Center and i definitely recommended.

I had a calm and peaceful experience here. The place is full of warm feelings and friendly people. The work was flexible, and the managers were flexible. I am grateful to everyone who helped, and I am happy to work with them.

This was a lovely volunteering experience — beautiful grounds, friendly volunteers, varied opportunities, and kind supervisors. For arrival by bus/on foot: I suggest asking about the underground passage that makes crossing of the highway between bus stop and the Center safer. In the café, shifts can feel busy with shorter breaks, so be ready for a solid workday. That said, the supportive team and welcoming atmosphere made it really enjoyable, and the café became one of my favorite areas to volunteer. Thank you the Center!! ✨️ They're also opening a new meditation hall on the grounds, which is exciting!

Volunteering at this the Center was truly one of the BEST experiences of my life. From the very first day, I felt a deep sense of peace - not only in the beautiful surroundings but even during my working hours as a volunteer. I learned so much about Buddhism and discovered how to connect with my self through meditation. Working in the Kitchen and the café also taught me many news things, and I really enjoyed being part of the team. I had the chance to meet and talk with people from all over world, All of them kind, respectful, and genuinely friendly. ❤️❤️❤️

I had an amazing time at the Center. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt so peaceful. I helped in the café and loved learning more about latte art. I also learned a lot about Buddhism and enjoyed the meditations classes. I also shared unforgettable moments with the staff and volunteers from all over the world between games, deep conversations, and lots of laughter. Truly an incredible experience!

My time at the Center was wonderful for getting to learn about New the Center teachings and practices. I was always surrounded by open-minded people with lots of love in their hearts. Working in the cafe was always fun, and lots of laughs were shared. Keep in mind that you do have to uber or bus into town, so this is a great experience for those looking to disconnect and/or connect more deeply with themselves. This was a truly enriching experience, both socially and spiritually. I felt that 2 weeks here wasn't enough, and I would love to return some day!

The stay at the TKIRC was amazing. The reviews aren't lying. They are super super nice, welcoming and open-minded. I can 100% recommend them to a volunteer. I did chores like grounds, gardening and working in the kitchen. I am coeliac which means I have to eat gluten free and they found a great solution with me for that. I'm very grateful for the time.

To volunteer in the Center was an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to meet the residents, volunteers from all over the world and of course, locals. I mostly worked in the café and I absolutely loved it. Everything is made with love and good energies and you can definitely feel those vibes at any moment. If you're looking for a comfy, safe and relaxing place to stay, I would recommend you this place!!
