Nuestra estadía allí como pareja de voluntarias ha sido muy buena a pesar de que los primeros días no pudimos hacer prácticamente nada porque no nos coincidían los horarios y teníamos que trabajar una por la tarde y otra por la mañana. Pero los anfitriones nos solucionaron el problema y a partir de ahí disfrutamos mucho más de nuestra estancia. Muchas gracias a todos por tratarnos tan bien, se respira un aire tranquilo y bueno en este lugar por la gente tan amable que hay en el. Además hemos aprendido mucho sobre el budismo y esta forma de vida más tranquila.

Tara es un lugar muy especial. Las instalaciones son preciosas, los jardines y los alrededores insuperables y la gente muy acogedora. Por otro lado en el ámbito laboral opinó que deberían mejorar los horarios, sobre todo el de cocina, ya que a veces se te hace eterno y te deja sin energía para disfrutar de tu tiempo libre.

Pase un gran tiempo en Tampa, aprendí mucho sobre mi, sobre los otros y el ambiente es realmente bueno. Espero regresar pronto!

Es una gran experiencia, en Tara se aprender muchísimo sobre el Budismo y sus costumbres. Las tareas son sencillas y el horario de trabajo es cómodo. Es un espacio grande, muy bonito y con mucho para explorar!! Cerca del centro de Derby y otros lugares para visitar. Es una experiencia que recomiendo.

Mi estadia en tara fue hermosa!! todos fueron muy atentos y amables. se respetan las horas acordadas de trabajo, con pausas para asistir a meditaciones, almorzar o simplemente descansar. las comidas riquisimas. la casa es gigante al igual que el patio, lleno de árboles, solo se escuchan pájaros. muy buena onda entre los voluntari@s, conocí gente de muy diversos lugares. volvería de nuevo :)

Es difícil encontrar las palabras para describir este lugar. Fue mi primera experiencia trabajando de voluntario y superó todas mis expectativas. El templo budista es hermoso, sus jardines, las instalaciones, las personas que trabajan y viven aquí son genuinas, amables y llenas de amor. La comida deliciosa y el ambiente espectacular. El trabajo es entretenido, flexible y siempre enfocado en el servicio por el otro, en la entrega verdadera, con cariño y desde la alegría. Recomiendo esta experiencia en un 100%, realmente es un lugar al que volvería, y que jamás olvidaré.

One of the best experiences of my entire life!! I was pretty closed off to Buddhism when I first started learning about it, however the amazing exposure I had to it, through talking to the monks, other buddhists that live at the Center, through the books that are available at the Center, and of course the meditations that you can go to every lunch time and multiple others throughout the day, I have become so connected and so drawn to this spirituality that I think and hope will continue for a lifetime. Everyone was so welcoming, loving, and you feel like you truly belong here. 10/10 recommend!

A experiência foi inesquecível, eu aprendi muito sobre o budismo e realmente me conectei com as pessoas locais e outros viajantes internacionais. Todos são extremamente gentis e emocionalmente inteligentes e eu me senti muito em casa sempre!

It was such a wonderful experience to be in an the Center environment where you can explore your inner world and work on improving your inner peace. I felt truly inspired by the Center practices and uplifted by the quietness and beauty of the nature surrounding the facilities. I also loved being part of this diverse, global community, where you can connect with people from so many cultures around the world. In this kind of atmosphere, the chances of meeting open-minded people are much higher, which makes it easy to connect with others. It truly felt like a home away from home.
