I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment I arrived, Helene and her family were some of the kindest, most welcoming people I've ever met! They made me feel completely at home, so accommodating, generous, and genuinely caring. One thing I really appreciated was the flexibility of the working hours , you could work in the morning or later in the day, whatever suited you, as long as the tasks were completed. It made the experience feel respectful and stress free. Mysen itself is a beautiful place to stay and I would 100% recommend this experience.

I very much enjoyed my time at Mysen, in Norway. The place is beautiful, full of character, and it's exciting to see the amazing eco-project they are creating there. Helene was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and generous, and always great to talk to. There was lots of flexibility, the chance to meet lovely people, and the surrounding nature in this small town is perfect for peaceful walks. The train connection is easy and convenient, making it simple to visit nearby places and Oslo as well. I'm really grateful for the experience and would highly recommend it.

Helene and her family were very kind and welcoming, in the short time i spend there i did a variety of tasks, which helps learn and extend my skills. Also, all the volunteers could choose what time of day they want to work which was very convenient. We had everything we need, amd i felt comfortable and safe. Huge thanks for the experience

Hermosa Experiencia junto a Helene y los demás voluntarios que coincidimos. Supero nuestras expectativas, ahí aprendimos a usar diferentes herramientas y sobre carpintería. Estar en Mysen ha sido una gran experiencia conoci muchas personas de muchos paises que son increibles ! Convivir en Mysen ha sido muy lindo el pueblo es pequeño pero muy bonito ! El bosque cerca del rio mi lugar Fav ! Helene y su familia son grandes personas me apoyaron durante my estancia en Mysen y poder tomar mis clases de Noruego ! La casa es enorme y siempre tenemos full de comida ! :D ! 🧡 Estoy muy feliz de haber conocido a grandes personas en Mysen :) Me voy muy agradecida y espero volver el siguiente año 🤗

It was an unforgettable experience, and Helene played a huge part in making it so special. From the very first day, she made me feel welcomed and supported, and it didn't take long before the place felt like home. The tasks were simple and enjoyable, the room was cozy, and Helene was always thoughtful, patient, and incredibly kind. I'm truly grateful for the time I spent there, and I would gladly repeat the experience again and again.
