In the Albergue I was able to meet so many interesting people and really enjoyed to help the pilgrims with what they needed. The work is quiet straightforward and only takes a two or three days to get the hang of it (you get one honeymoon day in the beginning). The volunteers share a room together and we could relax in the hammock in the garden when there was no work. All meals are provided and we usually ate together, which I really liked. I can definitely recommend the Albergue if you're looking for some time away from the big cities and enjoy meeting people from allover the world.

My experience at the albuerge was absolutely amazing. Meeting so many people from different countries who all share a similar mindset was enriching and I learned a lot of new things. Juan and Evi are incredible people and the food is just as spectacular as they are :) I can assure you that the dessert will be one of the best things you have ever tasted

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue enriquecedora desde todo punto de vista. No solo el hecho de que el albergue esté en el camino hace que el lugar sea especial, sino las personas que lo habitan y hacen que este funcione. Las actividades a realizar siempre son fáciles de llevar y además en equipo. Si uno pone lo mejor de sí, recibe también lo mejor de los demás. El lugar es hermoso, la comida es riquísima y la calidez de Juan y de Evi es tan genuina que te hace sentir como en casa. Gracias, una y mil veces ❤️

Es un hermoso Hostal Hospitalario en un lugar típico del Norte de España, en medio de la Naturaleza, un lugar tranquilo que permite la interiorización y el autoconocimiento... Les Doy las Gracias por cada día, fueron de gran aprendizaje para mi vida... La comida espectacular el Postre Ni se diga!!! Gracias Juan!!! y Gracias Evi y Paca , Gracias por La Noche de Cachondeo!!!!

My experience in the hostel was excellent. You are part of a mission to help and love people around you.. and you will be helped and loved for doing it ! You feel useful in your work and have free time to do what you want: relax, rethink, walk, pet animals, eat, connect to other people, have fun, etc. I volonteered to disconnect from my job, I came back filled with love and know more about myself thanks to the beautiful place, the divers jobs, the pilgrims, the volonteers, and Juan. Trust yourself, your life and people on your road. Be at peace 🙏

Para mi primera experiencia con Worldpackers, buscaba algo cerca de casa y relacionado con el Camino de Santiago, ya que hice varias etapas en Mayo y quería vivirlo desde el otro lado. La estancia mínima en el hostel, me echaba algo para atrás pero las reseñas positivas de los anteriores voluntarios, consiguieron convencerme de que era el lugar indicado para realizar mi primer voluntariado. Un sitio precioso, con mucha historia, en el que te reciben con calidez y te sientes cómo en casa desde el primer día. Se come de maravilla y las tareas son llevaderas. ¡Sin duda, os lo recomiendo!

Las Àguedas was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! The place is quiet, beautiful and full of good vibes. The tasks were simple and easy but it's hard to define exactly how many hours you work per day because some days there were no pilgrims and we had to do only 1h cleaning in the morning and chill the rest of the day. But in busy days it's possible that you'll be asked to stay around and work a bit longer, which I think it was fair enough. Juan and Evi are amazing people !kind, flexible and communicative. I'll definitely come back!

El hostel es un lugar increíble, lleno de buena energía y misticismo, en donde Evi y Juan me recibieron de la mejor manera y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Juan es increíble, muy comprometido con lo que hace y siempre está al pendiente de los voluntarios para que estén bien y Evi es la persona más buena y sabia que he conocido siempre con una sonrisa. El equipo de voluntarios hizo que esta experiencia fuera aún más increíble sobre todo Sebastián, siempre van a estar en mi corazón.

Un lugar excelente, los peregrinos son fantásticos. Juan es un gran hombre, Evi es un superhéroe y Aria es un amor!!! La comida fabulosa y la comunidad muy linda. POR SUPUESTO QUE LO RECOMIENDO PARA OTROS VIAJEROS!!! Les garantizo un gran aprendizaje sobre el Camino de Santiago y mucho más!!!
