We had an amazing time with Putra and the kids! Teaching the children was a truly wholesome experience, seeing them get excited about English felt very rewarding. Spending our free time in Karangasem was also a perfect opportunity to explore true local life in Bali. We were treated with delicious home-cooked meals by Putra and his family, visitied the local villages and famous sights and got to experience the countless traditions firsthand. I hope we can return some day!

We are so happy to have experienced Balinese culture away from the crowds at Putras place. We learned about the traditions and ceremonies of Balinese people, ate delicious home-cooked local food every day and even got to see all the school kids in traditional Balinese uniform and got to wear one ourselves! Teaching the kids was so much fun and we received a very warm welcome. Putra is an amazing host and his family is so lovely! We felt looked after very well. He took us on a tour around east Bali to show us beautiful beaches, temples and snorkelling spots. Highly recommend this experience.

Best experience for immersing in the local Bali culture and nature! Putra was a really great host, always ensuring that our needs are catered for and being the best host and guide we could ever ask for. The kids at the school were all so participative and cute, even writing us letters and extending their appreciation. Every meal was well-made and delicious, the family was also so welcoming and we got to experience so much of the local culture that will be unforgettable. Will truly cherish my time here :)

Wauw! Home away from home! Putra and his family made it feel like a safe and warm place from the moment we arrived! We will keep all the memories in our hart but especially te experiences with the impact we could make and the memories with te family! Giving English lessons to the children was such an amazing experience. The smiling faces, seeing them grow and the love you get back from them! Besides that we helped at the land and experienced the real Bali from closeby! We would recommend it to everyone!

I look back on our week with Putra and his wonderful family with so much gratitude. The stay itself was great: a nice place surrounded by beautiful nature, every day we were treated to delicious food. What stood out most was Putra's deep passion; for his community, and for his project. Working at the school was such a fun and enriching experience; the children were so sweet and curious. Dear Putra, thank you for everything, your hospitality, your stories, your knowledge and the amazing uno games!! This week has left a deep impression on us! The children are so enthusiastic and excited to learn, it's such a rewarding experience. The locals are so welcoming also, the village is great to explore. The experience itself was made by Putr and his family. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. I had my own accommodation, with bathroom and kitchen area where I felt very safe. Every meal was so delicious, such a great way to try the local cuisine. Putr's knowledge and passion for Bali really shines and gives you a unique experience of the island. He goes out of his way to ensure you are enjoying yourself, thank you again!!

It was an amazing stay at Putra, he was very nice, super welcoming and very helpful with everything. Aswell was his family Food was super nice, and he has a huge knowledge of local culture. His English is also super good. Would definitely do it again.

It was a really fun experience where we got to plant tomato plants, harvest cucumbers and much more. Meanwhile we worked in Elemantary School helping classes from 1-6 grade. We also got to experience a lot of local culture for example an attending a ceromony, trying different fruits you never heard of before and trying local drinks such as Tuak and Arak. Putra also really helped us planning our weekend as to where to go, and helped us rent scooters which was a big help. Can really recommend to everybody wondering about doing some volunteering work. Also nice with a private room and good food😊

Putra and his loving family welcome you with a warm heart. They show a kind of hospitality that we have forgotten in the West. You get your own room and bathroom and the home-cooked food is very nice. Also, Putra is a local journalist. His English is good and he knows Bali very well, so he can help you with almost anything. If you want to experience the real and local Bali, make an impact, and meet the kindest of people — this is the place to be.
