The Center is a very special and warm place. The people who constantly live there are welcoming and generous. Kelsey was caring, always interested on the well-being of us volunteers and We loved the environment, swimming in the lake, digging in the garden and alsooo filming and taking pictures. Even tough producing content was sometimes hard, working in the nature gave us the perfect variety.💖⭐️ we felt appreciated and emilia really did enjoy teaching yoga🧘‍♀️ and we enjoyed joining a yoga class of kelsey. emilia and i, we will come back

E&J brought a wave of happiness and friendliness that lifted everyone around them. One volunteer said they had never met anyone as happy as Josephine and her humour is priceless. Emilia shared yoga with us and created beautiful held spaces. I really enjoyed working with them and appreciate all their input and advice as we develop our marketing and am already looking forward to their return next October! You are missed! I spent three weeks in this wonderful place, surrounded by locals and other international travelers. The experience of meeting these people and living with them was amazing. I learnt tips about gardening and home crafts that may be useful. The place is ideal to connect with nature, but it is very remote and there's no buses on week-ends. I recommend it highly if you aim to retreat yourself among nature, but if you're a city dweller, who wants to visit Sweden, the task will be challenging.

Anais is one of the few volonteers who found her way here using public transit! She became our main garden caretaker. She is a dedicated volonteer and put a lot of love into the garden. She is always smiling and friendly to the other volonteers as they shared the kitchen and mealtimes. She was excited to experience the culture and explore the activities. We are grateful for her help :)

It was a really enjoyable experience volunteering at the Center! I got to da diverse range of tasks and everyone I met are very nice and always open to talk. I've endless to share about the new experiences I made here but I'd miss chatting with locals, walking around nature and cooking together the most!

We were lucky to have Tippi come and share herself with us. She showed up in the middle of the crazy folkmusicfestival with people everywhere and jumped right in to support us in all the commotion. She was active and fun and ready to live, explore, learn and experience the world around her. We were touched by her ability to connect with the elders and welcome her back to visit anytime she misses us and needs a break from her studies. Thank you Tippi!

The Center community was such a great experience! Kels was lovely and share with me always the best energy. Also, I was grateful for the clarity with the tasks and schedule. In my case I worked on the garden, was such a great experience, also therapeutic putting your hands on the soil. They have all the tools for you to work properly and with joy. I miss the raining boots now hahaha PD: Monday activities are the best to bond and discover the team. Thaaaaaank yoooooou!

Gabriela is a dream volunteer :) Bursting with life and positivity she will raise anyones spirits. She did fantastic work in the garden, evidence of her creative talents that reflect care and diligence in her tasks whatever she did. Cristina visited us with her friend Hugo. She is warm, capable and ready for anything. She has been a great help with a big heart and and really appreciated the soft beauty here. Very mature adventurous friends who easily completed tasks and took care of their space.

I first want to thank all the people I met in Stjärnsund that permit me to get more and more involved in the Center. I am especially grateful to Kelsey, Eva and Stefan that were always available and here to communicate on the work. They care about you and how you are feeling and will be understanding. The hours are really flexible, we could create our own schedule, except if some tasks had the be made in priority. The work was not too demanding and the instructions were clear. Volunteers could help in the kitchen in order to get some free food. I could try yoga, explore the lakes and forests.

Anthony was a pleasure to host. He worked excellent with everyone especially with the other volonteer. He is a great person to have around and had no problem jumping into the tasks and taking care. We miss him and hope to welcome him back someday!! Thank you for your visit :)

As a new WP member, I couldn't have asked for a better first experience! Kelsey & Stephan have been amazing and extremely welcoming from the moment we met; as well as everyone else in the community. As for the work itself, tasks are varied & clearly communicated & the 4-hours daily workload can be quite flexible. During my time off, I had the chance to enjoy yoga, walks on the lake, connect with the beautiful nature, meet locals, enjoy live music as well as my first ever Midsommar. This has truly been an amazing experience and I would highly recommend to fellow WPs. Tack igen för allt :)

Giusy has been an incredible help to us during our high season. Thanks to her we were able to offer a higher standard to all our guests with her care and attention to details. She is a pleasure to work with, caring, compassionate and understanding. She is very aware and responsible and makes friends with everyone. This was one of the best volunteering experience that I ever had. It was the perfect opportunity to explore the Swedish countryside. The nature around is amazing with its forests, lakes, islands and what not, there's so much to explore. The work was usually outside, mostly physical - so challenging but manageable. I got to learn a lot about forest gardening and got to try new skills like wood chopping, grass cutting etc. Kelsey and the whole village is very kind, generous and welcoming that it felt like home. It's definitely a place that I would love to go back to:)

I've spend the last two weeks in this place and let me tell you,it was truly amazing. From the people to the work we did, I could not imagine a better first experience. Kelsey, who is responsible for volunteers was so kind and really appreciated everything we did. Plus her yoga sessions were Medizin for my body, after it I could feel the gratefulness vibrating in my body. Everyone i met there was so open and kind, i felt welcomed and safe. This experience will nurture your inner child and from jumping in the lake to running and dancing with other wounderful volunteers you will have it all <3

Chantel is literally a ray of sunshine... her smile and laugh is heartwarming and she is an absolute pleasure to be around. We enjoyed her stay so much, she showed up exactly when we needed her and helped feed the team of volunteers when our cook had to leave early. She immediately fit in with the volunteer group we had going and shared her creativity whenever there was the chance. We are looking forward to welcoming her back!

My experience in the Center absolutely exceeded my expectations. Me and my friend stayed for month and enjoyed every second of it. Everyone welcomed us with open arms/hearts and saying goodbye wasn't easy at all. We worked as dream team of 5 volunteers in garden for 4,5h per day (weekends off) and helped around the house with anything was needed. Cutting wood/grass, gardening, cleaning property and much more. We got a chance to join yoga classes, do many trips around the area and have fun during and outside of working hours. I 100% recommend this experience, thank you for everything <3

Iva is incredibly great at communicating. Responsible and capable of taking care of many. She is aware and super helpful. A person from the heart with a great attitude. Having Iva and her friend Voyta has been one of the best volunteer experiences we have had :) Now its just hard living without them :) Wish you all the best!!!
