I really enjoyed my stay at the shelter and it was so amazing to get to know each and every dog and all the other lovely volunteers. It felt heartwarming and rewarding to be able to care for the dogs, whether it was through play, walking them or snuggle with them. I thought the work itself was pretty easy since you spend your days with the cutest dogs, which I miss already. The only thing I would say is that the location is pretty remote so there isn't much to do after your shift, but nevertheless it was nice to stay in a quiet and peaceful place far away from the noise and crowds.

The experience was good despite a few setbacks. The bathroom and toilets are basic, and it's hard to move around the shelter. There's a sense of being more of an employee than a volunteer. I encountered scorpions and snakes. The manager was rarely present, there were no human interactions. However, the dogs were adorable, and the volunteer team was great. Good food. Important to highlight; the dogs are well treated. I recommend this experience for dog lovers, but be ready to work hard, not expect activities outside of work hours, live simply, and not expect much interaction with the manager.

I had a great time at the shelter. The dogs are adorable, and I really enjoyed working with them. I also had a wonderful group with nice girls. However, I wish I had known beforehand that there isn't much to do after work, as you live quite remotely. Also, there are poisonous snakes around, which might not be for everyone.

It was my first experience through Worldpackers, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The working hours are fair, and even though it can be tiring at times, the love you get back from the dogs makes all the effort worth it. Moreover, you can see the difference you make by helping out in your small way. I met several girls with whom I formed amazing friendships and created wonderful memories, so if you're a girl traveling alone, this is the right experience for you.

I had a positive experience overall. The dogs were incredibly sweet and it was wonderful to spend time with them. There are some energetic dogs, that we were struggling with, but also cute and calm dogs of every age. The work was sometimes hard, especially because of the heat.(6h/day, 6day/week). I would have appreciated more communication with our host Jaz, however Our Volunteer lead Celina was amazing, she was so kind and able to help in many situations. I have to mention the Thai staff Pa-he always smiled and brought us fruits many times. The volunteers community there was incredible.

Volunteering here was a truly heartwarming experience. The dogs were delightful, and it was clear they were very well cared for. The tasks were manageable and rewarding, especially because so much of the time was spent interacting with the dogs. I struggled with the bathroom situation a little since the rooms don't have western toilets. Overall I'm glad I got to spend time with these lovely dogs and learned a lot along the way.

I had a great experience volunteering here. The dogs were absolutely wonderful, and it was heartwarming to see how well they were cared for. The work wasn't too difficult and felt very rewarding since you get to spend so much time with the dogs. One thing to keep in mind is that the bathroom facilities are quite traditional and “Thai,” so it might be a bit of a shock if you're used to Western standards. It was also really hot when I volunteered, and I struggled a bit with the heat, which affected how much I enjoyed my time. If you love dogs, this is a great place to volunteer!

Muttland is a very special place where the welfare of the dogs is the priority. You can feel the love for them everywhere. I am proud that I was able to be a part of this place, which has become a home within two weeks. The tasks and accommodation were clearly stated beforehand and everything was as discussed. I can only recommend anyone who loves dogs and knows that caring for them also involves work to go here.
