I had a really great stay with Steve and Dawn! The work is very fair and they are very respectful in giving your days off. I felt very comfortable here, they were both very welcoming and kind. I really enjoyed visiting the neighbouring towns and walking the dogs! I would definitely recommend this work exchange.

Our experience at “la the guest house” was great, the place is truly amazing and even though Steve and Dawn where not there during our stay, we felt very welcomed from them. The tasks required are easy and sometimes we could finish much earlier then 1 pm, so we had a lot of time to relax and explore around! We wouldn't change nothing ! Thank you, we might see you soon!🌞🌞

Had a great time here, the working hours and the work in itself were as agreed upon, and Steve and Dawn were great to work with. They were very welcoming, and could take you to towns close by sometimes if there was time. There were also several activities to do in the area, either hiking or going to the local bar and restaurant. Overall, I had two lovely weeks working here.

Steve and Dawn are amazing people with big hearts and will make you laugh. The work hours are as descripted, and the tasks as well. I had two lovely weeks there, if you like calm and small villages, but with sweet and friendly inhabitants, it's the perfect place. There are both easy and longer hiking trails, a local hotel bar and often festivities if you are lucky. I reccomend it very much!

This was a good experience and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who likes nature and being further away from crowds. Keep in mind that the village is far away from pretty much everything, so if you like being under people a lot this probably isn't something for you. It also helps if you are able to speak Spanish, not a must since we werent able to either The work is easy and exactly what aggred upon. Normally you walk the dogs from 8.30 to 9.30 and after a quick break you start taking care of the rooms or water the plants around the house until 1.30 (often you finish even earlier)

Steve was a very welcoming and helpful host! All tasks were manageable and as agreed upon. The scenery is beautiful! Perfect for worldpackers looking for an escape from the city and remote experience!

It's a quiet place, I loved all the times I sat on the bench in the Plaza to draw, write and read while the local children played. The views you see when you go hiking in the late afternoon or take the lovely dogs for a walk are wonderful and the town of Ronda is beautiful (it is worth mentioning that there is only one bus a day to go and return.) The people of the village are friendly and I was able to practise my Spanish with them. Steve and Dawn always made mealtimes fun times to chat and listen to their stories. I was able to practise English with them and the other worldpackers <3

The fact that I came here a second time speaks for itself! Steve and Dawn are wonderful and open-minded people who care deeply about your well-being. I am grateful for the shared meals at which I was able to get to know them better. The village is set in the beautiful Andalusian mountains which are breathtaking. It is also an ideal place to meet the locals and practice your Spanish. the guest house is a place where you will feel at home! Highly recommended!

I had a great time!! The tasks were as expected and the hours were great as we always had the afternoons/ evenings off. I felt very comfortable during my stay and Steve took us to see different places which was very fun. The dogs are such characters as well. I would highly recommend staying here :)

A lovely experience! Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting an exchange and nature getaway! Steve was a totally welcoming and entertaining host and really made the experience amazing. the guest house is a beautiful house and the work is reasonable for the exchange :) The dogs were adorable and overall a fab experience!
