Fue mi primer voluntariado y estoy muy feliz! El lugar es muy tranquilo y pacifico, conectas mucho con la naturaleza. Steve y Dawn fueron muy amables y respetuosos, cocinan delicioso. Tienen 2 perritos Zorro y Raspa que son un amor. Se respetan tus horas de trabajo, valore mucho eso. Me encanto la experiencia y lo aprendido! PD. Les comente que la pizza es mi comida favorita, y me hicieron pizza casera súper deliciosa la ultima noche, fue muy especial. Les mando un abrazo a todos y gracias por la experiencia!

One of the best experiences of my life. Villaluenga del Rosario is truly the most beautiful place. Stunning. Refreshing from American culture. The locals are so lovely, friendly, and eager to help you speak Spanish. Perfect area for hiking! The babies! I fell in love with Zoro and Raspa ❤️ I already miss them! *both are rescues and Raspa needs extra love and someone who is very gentle and has experience with animals. The work was easy! Paula is THE best!❤️ *Downsides: Unfortunately, Dawn and Steve (I think Dawn mostly) were less than friendly. The living space was not very clean.

We did not meet you.

However, sadly even before you arrived, we had problems.

You did not listen to our specific details for arrival and booked a journey to a completely different place.

After that, you blamed us saying we were not specific.

The other main problem we had, was that you did not listen when we asked for rooms to be checked prior to guests arriving.

This meant we had a major problem with a guest who refused to stay in their room due to a lack of cleanliness.

We have NEVER had that situation before and it happened because you ignored us.

You do not know best with someone else's business and we usually never have these issues with other volunteers.

We would absolutely not recommend you to another host because of this.

This was my first WP experience and I had a good time. I think the experience might have been a bit different if there had been other volunteers at the same time as me. Sometimes I found it hard to know what I needed to be doing and would have benefited from more structure. All in all, it was a good experience and Steve and Dawn were good hosts who kindly took me on a few day/afternoon excursions outside of the village, which is a huge plus. The village itself and all the hiking in the area is a great perk of this WP. Thanks Steve and Dawn for the time.

The dogs are really sweet and the village and the nauture are beautiful. Steve and Dawn are very nice and the work was not hard. Me and my friends had a lot of time to go hiking and enjoyed our quiet christmas.

The hosts were super nice and the dogs were really sweet. The tasks were easy and we had a lot of free time so we were able to see much of the village and go on hikes (the place is ideal for hikes). All in all it was a great experience

The guest house is an amazing place and environment! This was our second experience with Worldpackers and it was perfect. Dawn and Steve made us feel comfortable right away and provide us with an fantastic room to stay, couldn't ask for anything better. The working hours were always respected and Dawn always asked us if we wanted to take a break. The work is not hard and actually very fun (walking the dogs in the morning it's the best). Dawn often gave us a ride to explore the city nearby, and together with Steve cooked us fantastic dishes. Highly recommend!

We spent 6 days with Dawn and Steve and everything went amazing. The place is beautiful and quiet, perfect if you want to get in touch with the real local culture and have some rest from the big cities. Dawn and Steve were really nice hosts. Dawn often offered us to visit the surroundings and Steve prepared really good food for dinner. The working hours were respected (sometimes you can even finish a bit earlier) and the work was easy and fun. Also their two dogs are really cute :) Would highly recommend

We stayed 2 weeks in their beautiful guesthouse, while it got renovated (no guests) and had a really good time. Dawn&Steve are really understanding, friendly as well as funny and the work was not too hard or too long. They also took us on trips to other citys and cooked the most delicious food for us. We spend a lot of time with their two really cute dogs, who we loved to go out with. The village is pretty small and rural, so you can go on hikes and have beautiful views at the mountains, which surround it. On the days off you can make trips to bigger places like Ronda (absolutely worth it).

We went there for two weeks, while the hostel got renovated (so no guests) and we had an amazing time. Dawn and Steve are really nice, funny and understanding. They took us to different places and cooked the best dishes we had on our whole trip. They also have two really cute dogs, who we spend a lot of time with. The work was not to difficult and the shifts were often shorter than expected. The accommodation is also really comfortable and the village is pretty small and rural with a beautiful surrounding. There is not a lot to do in the village, but you can make trips to city's like Ronda.

Dawn and Steve were the nicest! They were very kind and interesting hosts, and I loved getting to know them over my stay. The town is gorgeous, and they gave us great recommendations on where to go on our days off, how to get there, and even took us to a couple surrounding towns! The tasks were easy, and the hours were very respected. They're also great cooks! Would definitely recommend this stay to those who want to get away from busy cities and connect with a slower paced kind of lifestyle for a bit.
