I had a really good time as a volunteer at the hostel. The hosts First and Joe are kind and good people, they will make sure you have a good time and take care of you. They were flexible with the work and tasks and always showed appreciation of your help as a volunteer!

I'm so thankful for my time here! It's such a social and welcoming hostel and really feels like a second home! Bunch of guests extend their stay because they love it that much, and i think that says a lot about the place and vibe! The work is simple enough and consists of preparing breakfast, checking toilets, making beds, folding laundry, socializing with guests and helping with the nights activity, depending on your shift. First&Joe are lovely, helpful, funny and very flexible! You will be in good hands <3 And special thanks to pear&bam! You're killing it!!<3 Definitely recommend! 💕

I really recommend. Chiang Rai has lots to offer and theres no better place to base yourself than with these amazing hosts! Joe & First respectably work very hard to continue the success of their hostel and of course you are expected to do your duties and do them as you have been shown. But they are two of the most accommodating and generous people that I've met. Throughout my stay I was listened to, understood, and cared for. There is a pure sense of family and friendship and saying goodbye was the hardest part. I will really really miss the GetHi family🐶🐈‍⬛🏡Thank you Joe, First, Bam & Pear🫶🏻

I had such an amazing time at the hostel! The team (staff and volunteers) were super welcoming from the moment I arrived. The volunteers got a weekly schedule. Tasks varied from making breakfast, to making beds or do laundry. It was never a lot of work and all very manageable. We also got to participate in the evening activities, which was always a lot of fun (especially karaoke-night). the hostel truly has a one of a kind atmosphere and I will surely come back some day. I would definitely recommend volunteering here💞

I had THE BEST time at the hostel. First and Joe are amazing hosts, super flexible and also very caring. Pear, Bam, and Sagar are such incredible staff and made the place feel like home. This was my first Worldpackers volunteer and I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chiang Rai is also such a beautiful city, with chill and social atmospheres. I can't wait to come back! Also a shoutout to Stitch and Miley, who I lost many tug of wars with

As a first time volunteer, I couldn't be more happier to choose the hostel. What a lovely and exciting experience this was. The tasks and free time are well balanced. First and Joe are very kind hosts and the rest of the staff as well. The hostel atmosphere was very warm, bright, and fun that even the guests who stayed shared the same energy. The hostel felt like a home away from home. 2 weeks felt very short because I was having so much fun. See you again soon my the hostel fam!

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience! The shifts were fair and well respected, leaving plenty of time to explore the city or just relax at the hostel. The atmosphere is super friendly, with travelers and volunteers from all over the world, perfect for making new friends and sharing experiences. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a balance of work, fun, and cultural exchange. Loved my time there, felt like being part of a family and met wonderful people. Joe and First are the nicest and coolest people I've ever met! The hostel has such a great vibe: you meet amazing and interesting people, join fun activities every day and it never feels like work. The staff is so kind, Pear and Bam are awesome! They all really care about the guests, always helping and making sure everyone is having a great time. I made so many wonderful memories here, explored a lot and always felt welcome. The location is perfect, and I'll definitely come back one day. the hostel is truly amazing, I highly recommend it. Thanks for everything, I'll miss u so much guys 🫶🏻
