It is a really good place to chill and socialize with other travellers, there is activities every night and tours leaving everyday. If you like to talk all day and be surrounded by people all the time this is the place for you! You work for 4 hours a day and there is different shifts you can do, they are assigned weekly and if you like to have a free day or change the shift it is totally flexible, Joe and First are super friendly. The tasks are good and not hard, if it's your first time, you will be fine. Just enjoy the time in Chiang Rai 🫶

During my stay I felt home in every moment. I met a lot of people and having a good time with the other volunteers. First and Joe are very friendly and they really care about guests and their wellness. The shift were the same as described and they teach you to do everything. Don't do that if you don't like staying with people. Thank you so much for this very great time 🥰

The hostel was an amazing experience. Joe and First are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, always happy to help and making you feel like part of the place from day one. The hostel has a relaxed, respectful, and fun vibe. The girls on the team Pearl, Bean, and Maui are awesome: hardworking, friendly, and full of great energy, which makes everyday life even more enjoyable. Communication was clear and the exchange felt fair. I'm leaving very grateful for everything I learned, the people I met, and all the great moments shared. Highly recommended!

Incredible! I spent just two weeks there, but it was absolutely amazing. The staff is wonderful, the work is really easy, and if you enjoy being social, it becomes even better. Zero stress it's a super chill place and I loved every moment of it! Joe and First are also very flexible with the schedule, which is perfect. You should definitely try it!

I had a really great experience with this Worldpackers stay. Joe and First were very welcoming and kind, and they made me feel comfortable from the first day. The shifts were pretty chill, and Bam and Pear explained everything with a lot of patience. I definitely recommend this place, thank you all for the amazing time!

Where do I begin? the hostel was a wonderful experience, in every aspect: Joe and First are a super energetic couple, who always makes both guests and volunteers feel welcomed and are always helpful and nice; the work is well portioned among all volunteers and it is not too tiring, which allows the volunteer to enjoy your stay there almost as much as guests. All activities were engaging and never boring, allowing guests and volunteers alike to socialise and have fun together! I definitely recommend it to anybody who likes socialising with people and wants to explore the North of Thailand

This was my first volunteer experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one! The tasks were clearly explained and easy to complete, and there is so much to do in your free time in Chiang Rai. Volunteering at GetHi hostel was a wonderful experience! I stayed for 3 weeks and was warmly welcomed by Joe, First, Pear and Bam. Joe and first are very warm, flexible and adapting. The hostel itself is amazing - super clean and social. It was a great experience and I would happily do it again. I already miss it! Would recommend <3

I'm so thankful for my time here! It's such a social and welcoming hostel and really feels like a second home! Bunch of guests extend their stay because they love it that much, and i think that says a lot about the place and vibe! The work is simple enough and consists of preparing breakfast, checking toilets, making beds, folding laundry, socializing with guests and helping with the nights activity, depending on your shift. First&Joe are lovely, helpful, funny and very flexible! You will be in good hands <3 And special thanks to pear&bam! You're killing it!!<3 Definitely recommend! 💕
