The whole the camping team is so welcoming and generous. We were able to join guests on one of their tours and even take a weekend trip to Gerik for a mountain festival. The daily tasks were very manageable; light housekeeping and reception duties as others have said. We were able to stay in the tents some nights and food was basically always provided, either from restaurants or they are willing to get you any groceries you request. Such kind and wonderful people, I can't recommend the camping enough!

This was such a fun experience!! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. You can tell the hosts want the volunteers to be comfortable and feel at home. The tasks were easy and fun to complete. Even the employees who may not speak your native language were very nice!! Shout out to Jodi & Jubba 🫡 All the people at the camping were fantastic

Volunteering at the camping was a beautiful experience for being immersed in the local culture and family life. The environment is really natural and peaceful, it's a good place to chill and take time at the middle of your travel. The tasks can vary depending of the needs: helping with housekeeping, gardening or receptioning! You can also enjoy the tours with the guests while taking pictures and videos Ja, Azi, Elmi and Zul (and Cookie🐱!!) are really welcoming and always love to share moments, stories, food and music with you! This was my first Worldpackers stay and it went great! Ja, Azie, and the rest of the team (including Cookie!) were so helpful, friendly, and made the stay so fun and enjoyable! I felt so appreciated and welcomed. The work was very easy reception duties, light cleaning, and generally helping out others as needed. Room and food was provided and I even was able to go on one of their day trips in exchange for taking photos and video for social media. Definitely recommend and hope to come back and visit in the future when it's not so rainy! :)

This was my first worldpackers experience and I thought it was great. Like it says in the job description, there's not really a set schedule but my usually tasks were housekeeping and checking in a few guests. The tasks were simple and the schedule is flexible. I left a day early because the hosts recommended me to since I really want to have time to visit Ipoh. The hosts are very friendly and approachable. You get 3 meals and a day and a staff room, and I was able to sleep in one of the guests tents for a night too. I also got to go on one of the tours for free in exchange for taking pic

Such a lovely experience! Since the moment I arrived they made me feel so confortable! I have the possibility to learn about their culture and visit some of the most amazing atractions in the area. The place is so cute! Paceful, in the middle of the nature, just the perfect spot to take a breath from crowded places but at the same time very close to the center of the main town. Regarding the task, they were very simple, just what had been agreed. Ja, Elmi and all the team were really kind. Thank you so much! 😘

I really enjoyed my time at the camping. The owners and staff were really nice. The volunteering tasks involved checking in guests and light house keeping duties. Every morning we were given our tasks, however there was no specific schedule and most of the time we were there just standby waiting for the guest to arrive for their check in. So I would recommend this to someone that wants to stay in one place and work on other personal projects rather than someone that wants to explore everyday. However the hosts were always flexible when I wished to go out and explore.

My experience at the camping was very chill and fun! The hosts Ja, Elmi, and Zol were all so welcoming and friendly. Even though they are quite busy, they are very helpful and will always answer your questions and be flexible with your schedule. I did housekeeping and reception and it was easy work and got to join a tour and stay in one of the tents for a night during my stay! Thank you the camping!!

What an amazing month we spent with our new Family Work is well balanced with free time for being creative or relaxing. Staff house is super comfortable and we really felt at home. They regularly invited us to lunches and dinners, we met family and friends and had great conversations. The tasks included reception work, general housekeeping of our quarters and guest tents, we even got to do some fun DIY projects, trust me, you will have fun! We even had the time to visit Penang and Ipoh! Thank you so much Emi, Zul, Ja and Azie we love you so much ❤️ we will see you again in the future

An amazing place to immerse yourself in nature and connect with the locals! I recommend this experience to anyone who is tired of constant travelling and is seeking a place to rest and reconnect! The hosts are kind and humble people and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
