It was my first volunteering with Worldpackers, and I can only recommend this place for anyone who wants to get to know local life in Cameron Highlands. The owners and all their employees are really kind people, who put a lot of passion in their project. Work includes housekeeping, reception, and generally helping out during the day. Adapt to the work that needs to be done and they will adapt to your preferences as well. If you are curious about the surroundings and local food, don't worry you will have time to explore, and also get valuable tips.

I truly had a heartfelt experience at the camping! As soon as I arrived I was welcomed warmly by everyone. I got to help with the daily routines of feeding the chickens, cleaning, gardening and creative tasks. Ja, Elmi, Zu and all the other staff were always super kind and patient and taught me so much about Malaysian culture and their religion. I had plenty of free time to explore the surroundings and I even got to go on a tour with Ja and spend some nights in the camping tents :) I met some amazing other volunteers and would definitely recommend this volunteering!

I really recommend this volunteering. I felt welcomed and cared for by everyone. It was an incredible experience. If I ever return to CH, I will definitely visit them. I am very grateful to have met them all.

This was a good experience I will say at the first part of my stay i was alittle unsure of how I was to work but as time went it fell into place I was able to help with my photography and at the reception which I enjoyed I also helped with house keeping tho I had originally had applied for social media my videos were not quite what they had in mind tho im in no way an expert so I didn't mind. The tours were really good experience seeing the native village was a highlight and ja and Elmi were very kind people and always making sure we were feed.

I had an amazing experience at the camping ! We did some gardening, cleaning, painting and decorated. I really enjoyed my stay, along with koki and its 4 kittens ! The environment was nice and the work not to heavy. We had the chance to go on a half day tour with Ja !

I really enjoyed my experience as a volunteer at the camping ! Cleaning and housekeeping are usually done during the morning. Afternoon work is much more diversified : gardening, painting... It depends on the needs of the day and what you want to do. The host (Ja) brought the lunch every day, but it is also possible to use the kitchen. Ja invited us to participate to an excursion with the customers, we really appreciated it ! Thanks you very much for your welcome ;)

The best experience I had, all the team welcomed warmly. a very beautiful place far from the noise of the city, perfect for experiencing a quiet life close to nature. the people at the camping are very kind and open, it's really a very valuable experience ♥️ Thank you for the opportunity so that I can be part of the camping team♥️♥️♥️🙏

Amazing place with wonderful people! I felt really welcomed and included in the team. Simple tasks as general maintenance, house keeping and reception helped me to unlock new skills and refresh some old ones. We had the most incredible experience volunteering with the camping family! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and appreciated. Ja took really good care of us - like a real brother (he is also very funny)🤗 Owners Elmi and Zul were always kind and caring, making sure we were never hungry and doing ok, also understanding when I got a bit sick and had less energy 🤧🙏 Won't forget my lovely friend Koki🐈‍⬛ I had an opportunity to welcome 4 little fur babies🥰🥰 This experience exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend to volunteer here! Thank you so much for everything! 🤍🫶🏼

My week at the camping was a great experience. I was fortunate enough to stay in one of their the camping Pods for the duration of my stay, and join guests on an excursion to an indigenous tribe ine change for photos and videos of the day. All of the team are welcoming, and so giving. You really feel like you are immersing into their family, and the local community. the camping is a beautiful site, surrounded by nature - with only a short walk to the main town and local village. The work is flexible and simple, with lots of support provided by all members of the team.
