Volunteering here was such a wonderful experience! The hostel has a friendly atmosphere, high standards, and perfect location in Myeongdong. Lunches were ordered based on our preferences, and the work itself was easy, taking around 3 hours a day. The main manager and the amazing team were so kind and caring that I felt safe and welcome from the very first day. I do want to mention that one female manager sometimes treated volunteers unfairly and could be unpleasant when giving instructions. But still, I had a fantastic time and would choose this place again, great for first-time volunteers!

My experience at the Jongno hostel was truly amazing! Manager, Tati and Fátima were incredibly kind and made me feel at home from the very first day. They became like family to me, and I'm so grateful for everything they did. The work was easy and we always worked as a team, which made every day enjoyable. I'm taking with me so many unforgettable memories, and I'll definitely come back to live this experience again. I love you all so much! 💕

She's the best. She's so kind and she does everything responsibly. If you catch her, you're so lucky. I'm always going to get her back as a volunteer if she wants to. I'm so lucky that she came to the hotel.

This was my very first experience of volunteering and traveling at all and I couldn't choose better than staying in the hostel hotel. I was staying there for 2.5 months in Myeongdong. The work is very easy and doesn't take long, also manager is such a great person and makes the stay even more comfortable and I met very good friends here and spent amazing time with them. It was basically the most wonderful experience.

I spent 2 months here and it was such an amazing experience. We had a staff room with a private bathroom just for us, and everything was really comfortable.The tasks were simple and well organized. The schedule was officially 11am–3pm, but we often finished earlier. What really made the experience unforgettable was the team and the managers. They were super kind, always helpful, and did everything to make things easier for us. We also hung out and did activities together outside of work, which made the whole stay even more special. If I could do it again, I'd definitely go back!🥲🥲🥲🥲

Such an amazing and fun experience! Mathilde was a great asst manager, trained me quickly but thoroughly and was patient even if I made a couple mistakes :) Very nice hostel, super clean and welcoming, and the guests are usually somewhat chatty so nice to hear different experiences!

This was my first worldpackers experience and i really had the best time! i met so many nice people it was so much fun to hang out with the team every day and the manager was also very cool and sometimes he even paid dinner for us. the work is soo easy and often you finish more early so you have even more time of the day. you get to sleep in a staff room and the cubes are very comfortable and big enough. the hostel has everything you need in the bathroom and everywhere else. when i told the manager i wanna go to busan he even gave me an extra day off to see the city hahaha.i already miss it!!

This has been my first experience with worldpackers, solo traveling and outside of Europe and I can confirm it has been the best thing I've ever done in my life. I stayed at the Jongno branch, the hostel is really nice and has a beautiful decoration, architecture-related. As for the work, it's totally doable, and if you finish earlier you can leave once the supervisors check if it's done correctly. The food was amazing, I got to try different dishes of traditional korean food! My coworkers were all very friendly and I had a really good time with them! I really hope I can go back soon!!♡

My time at this place was truly amazing. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable — the environment is warm and friendly, and you really feel at home. The work is simple and repetitive in a good way, so once you learn the routine, everything becomes easier and more enjoyable. As long as you're responsible and focused, it's a smooth and rewarding experience. The two sub-managers were incredibly kind and helpful — they always made sure I understood everything, they listened to me, and supported me throughout my stay. The manager was also really nice. Thanks for everything!!!

Spending 2½ months at the hostel Myeongdong was a truly wonderful experience I will never forget. The balance between work and free time was just right. I really appreciated how everything was taken care of, especially the daily meals, which made things so much easier. What stood out the most was the warm and welcoming environment. I met amazing people, made great memories, and made amazing new friends. 😊 Overall, it's a great place I'd love to return to as a volunteer!
