Amei o hostel, amei o meu anfitrião! Trabalhei na unidade de Myeongdong, o hostel é muito bem localizado, meu anfitrião era um fofo, super atencioso, respeitoso e disponível para me ajudar, o hostel é muito legal, boa acomodação e fácil acesso aos transportes públicos. Amei tudo e pretendo voltar. Obrigada por essa experiência maravilhosa ❤️

Minha experiência foi limitada, mas preciso relatar. O dormitório dos funcionários fica no subsolo, sem janelas, muito baixo, úmido e gelado; quando chove, alaga. Solicitei trabalhar em outra unidade, mas não houve flexibilidade, e fiquei sem alternativa de hospedagem, já que hotéis de última hora são caros. O Manager teve postura invasiva e desconfortável, pressionando funcionários sobre conversas e ações. Recomendo revisar dormitórios e gestão para um ambiente seguro e saudável.

Unexpected heavy rain caused leaks inside the building, and I sincerely apologize for that. However, when you used another staff member’s phone to send messages pretending to be them, it made the Manager very upset. Moreover, part of our work is to face and overcome unexpected challenges together — unfortunately, you did not.

This experience was amazing! I was lucky enough to be with an amazing team of both volunteers and managers at Jongro the hostel. The work is hard at first, but once you get used to it it's really doable! Don't doubt to ask questions to the managers because they will help you with everything they can. If you want to be in the heart of the hostel and have a clean and nice space to stay at, this is it!

My volunteering experience in the hostel was absolutely amazing! 🌏💖 I met incredible girls from all over the world, made friendships that I know will last a lifetime, laughed until our cheeks hurt, went out in the city to eat ,dance and created unforgettable memories. A special thanks to Chris and Sunchang, whose support and kindness made my stay even more enjoyable—they truly made me feel at home. Leaving was emotional, but I carry with me the hope of returning one day and seeing everyone again. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for adventure, connection, and fun! ✨

The volunteering experience was super comfortable. The work was just like in any other place—work. The food was amazing, I loved everything. The managers are very kind. I loved Korea and I hope to come back soon.

I stayed at the hostel jongro for over a month and honestly I loved the experience. The vibe was friendly, the cleaning tasks were clear, as agreed and easy to follow, teamwork is important and the key for an easy work so communication was always smooth. Now the important part, the team is really the best, they are always willing to help, and the place has such a warm, welcoming energy. I learned a lot, met AMAZING people, and left feeling really happy and with a full heart. Thanks again Manager for being the best, im already looking forward to go back to the best hostel!! ❤️

The location is great, in the middle of Myeongdong. The hostel is comfortable, I was lucky to stay in the guests room. The manager HyeonDu is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most caring people I've met. The work is fine, usually one or two hours a day. Breakfast is simple, but they help you to get something extra. I'd definitely recommend it!

I had a great time during my time at the hostel hotel in myeongdong, everything was amazing and thanks to Hyeon Du, the manager, i felt home, super welcomed and as if we were all family! I'm missing everything about it :'( Can't wait to see you again hehe. As for the work everything was veeery easy, nothing complicated at all and Hyeon Du is always available if you need anything be it related to work or personal stuff. We had to change the beds, clean the kitchen&lobby and clean the bathrooms, it took us just 2h then we would be free for the day. Deffo recommend this host as a 1st experience!

I can't put into words what this experience meant to me!The work was as described in the position, always done as a team, well-organized schedule, great food and accommodation. But what truly made it special were the people.I worked at Jongno branch (great loc btw), King Kong is a sweet manager, attentive, funny and taugth me Korean. Tati and Fatima are two amazing leaders, full of motivation, always caring, supportive, inspiring me with their strength and kindness.They became family to me.I'm leaving SK with a full heart, grateful for every moment, connection, and all the growth I've gained❤

You really worked hard in everything and cleaned everything with responsibility. There was a huge impact on the hotel, and your positive energy affected everyone. Unfortunately, you have to leave, but we will not forget you. Of course, if you want to work in a hotel again, we will always wait for you. It was the most incredible experience I've ever had, I am so happy to apply in the soul the hostel myeondong and been able to live this experience with the lovely girls that were working there at the same time as me and the manager was so sweet with all of us.
