I had such a great experience here! Mrs Quynh was so helpful getting me set up and made sure I had everything I needed even though she was away for my first day. The students were so amazing and really wanted to learn, I miss them already. I wish I could have stayed longer and I hope to go back someday. Mrs Quynh even helped me organize by bus when I was leaving and walked me right to the bus stop. I will also miss Mrs Van so much, she was so sweet and always made sure I was okay and had LOTS to eat. Thank you so much for the experience!!

I had an amazing time for my first trip in Vietnam 😊 this is a beautiful place to discover local people and learn about Vietnamese culture. Mes Quynh is very welcoming and kind, it's really easy to feel comfortable in this big house. Also Mrs Von is an exceptional cooker, I ate too much during my stay 😂I really appreciated to share some moments with her when I was trying to learn some stuff in Vietnamese 😁 The teaching part part was pretty chill, I had the opportunity to give some "private" lessons to a young adult, and to a group of adorable children.

I cannot express how grateful I am for how well I was looked after by Quynh and Mrs Von, they were so generous and I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived. I have learnt so much about the culture - experiencing the local celebrations, trying and learning how food is made, meeting the friendly locals. Teaching the kids was also definitely a highlight of my trip, they are so spirited and I loved teaching and playing games with them. My time there was very chill and relaxed, never hungry, and always a lot of happy water.

My time here was truly unforgettable. I taught English classes each day with some amazing students. Mrs Quynn, Mrs Von and the boys welcomed me into their lives and with them I had some great experiences. I learnt so much about the local cultures and ate amazing food. The people I met, including the other international volunteers are (I hope) going to be lifelong friends. I didn't want to leave but I look forward to returning as soon as I can. Thank you Mrs Quynn, not only for the hospitality shown to me but also for the incredible work you do to help and support the local the organization ❤️

Best experience of my life. 4 weeks turned into 4.5 months. I kept extending my stay as I fell in love with Ha Giang and found my passion for teaching English to the locals. I had such an amazing experience at the school and will forever cherish my memories. Miss Quỳnh always ensured that I was happy, Miss Van pampered me with delicious meals. Everyone I met welcomed me with open arms. I taught adults and children but spent a lot more time with the adults. I've made friends for life and am so proud of everyone's achievements. You can truly make a difference here!

Best experience of my life. My 4 weeks at the school turned into 4.5 months. I kept extending my stay as I truly lost my heart to Ha Giang and found my passion in teaching English to the locals. I struggle to put into words how amazing my time was. Miss Quỳnh always wants to ensure that you are happy. Miss Van will pamper you with delicious meals. Every single person you meet welcomes you with open arms. You will teach adults and children but overall spend more time with the adults. I've made friends for life and am so proud of everyone's achievements. You can truly make a difference here.

I truly loved my stay at this school! I really enjoyed the time I spent there with the students and another volunteer. The students are mostly adults who are very motivated and committed to learning, so it goes without saying. I had a lot of fun and Ms Quynh and Ms Vann took great care of me. It was such a great experience that I ended up extending my stay here and would love to come back!:)

I had the most amazing time here - so much so I extended my stay!! I was incredibly lucky with the group of girls I was volunteering at the same time as - we all got on so well which really made the experience! I absolutely loved all my students I was teaching and built such close relationships that I will forever cherish! The food here is amazing, thanks to Mrs vann. I would absolutely recommend this to another traveller and I hope to return in the future!

This was my first time using Worldpackers and Volunteering and it was absolutely incredible! You live and work in a cosy village about 20-30 mins from Ha Giang city. The workload was so manageable, mainly teaching adults in the day with long breaks in between and then teach the children for their after school club. I have no teaching experience which was slightly daunting at first but after the first few days you get used to it. Everyone is so kind and welcoming which helps. Such a chilled out vibe I'd recommend it to anyone! Thank you so much I'll 100% remember this forever!

This was my first experience doing volunteer work, and I truly enjoyed it! I had the chance to meet amazing people, learn new things, and share my knowledge with both children and adults. Even though I was nervous at the beginning, I quickly felt comfortable thanks to the warm atmosphere and supportive environment. It was a meaningful and fun experience, and I'm really grateful to have been part of it. Thank you for this opportunity!
