The lodge is a truly beautiful place and and an amazing volunteer position for everyone who likes working with children and being surrounded by nature. The team was welcoming, always kind, and made me feel at home. Daro has a very peculiar personality, he could be a little bit more accommodating with volunteers at the beginning of their stay, but once you get to know him he's a really nice person. I worked as an assistant for activities and sports, together with some cleaning. The job was not hard at all, I just recommend to be very proactive and to take the initiative!

Que experiencia increíble!!! Estuve en un campamento de verano con niños. He conocido gente maravillosa, me conecte mucho con los niños y con todo el equipo! El sitio me transmitía mucha paz y tranquilidad, la comida increíble, la cama cómoda y todo estaba genial. Daro, el anfitrión, me ha hecho sentir súper cómoda todo el tiempo, también me ha explicado todas las mañanas las tareas y los horarios. Sin duda, me llevo amigos de allí! Tengo claro que volveré a este sitio que se ha convertido en un hogar!

My experience at the lodge was incredible. The location is really nice, spacious, quiet and well maintained. The activities are several but simple because there is always a staff member helping you. Daro is kind and funny, but also very professional and demanding person. I have always been treated with respect and kindness by him. Adaptability, positivity, commitment and respect for the rules are really important. If you work hard and put in the effort, then you will be rewarded. I want to thank all the amazing people i met for this unforgettable experience! THANK YOU!

I had a great time at Hacienda. I arrived in mid-May, lots of activity & lots of kids. Your schedule can change quickly during the busy high season, so just be ready to adapt. If you go with the flow & make an effort to connect with the campers & staff, you'll have a great time. Daro is super chill & helped our volunteer group plan weekend trips to Cadiz & Sevilla. Thank you to Daro, Sonia, & Adama, to the lovely cooks Raffie, Packie, & Ellie, to all the camp staff, & of course to Hallie, Hitesh, Gianluca, & Sara. Miss you all already.

I had a great time working at Hacienda! This was my first world packers experience and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff are so kind and welcoming, and Daro is a great host. He is very helpful and he works hard to make sure the volunteers are enjoying their experience. Overall there is a great atmosphere at Hacienda and I would have loved to stay longer. I would recommend this experience to anyone!

I had an amazing experience as the lodge. Daro as well as the team were very accommodating and understanding as Spanish is not my first language. Although I did learn a lot from the staff and the children from the camps. I wish I could have spent more time there as the environment was spectacular and extremely welcoming. I was well fed and anything we needed Daro was sure to help out the best he could. The camp really did feel like a second home. I would most definitely come back again next year if Daro would have me again! you should definitely make your way here!!!

This was my first volunteer experience and has set the bar very high for the future. Everyone was welcoming from the moment I arrived. I had originally signed on to da social media position, but ended up helping out with various tasks— maintenance, helping with camp activities, organizing games, serving meals— all very easy. The work environment is light-hearted and fun! Daro has a wonderful full time staff, all locals, who are mostly Spanish speaking and incredibly kind. The other volunteers are from all over with varying levels of Spanish. Hasta luego, the lodge 💛

I don't speak any Spanish, but the whole team went out of their way to make me feel welcomed, used non verbal communication and had be overall so patient while I tried to learn the basics of the language. The work was diverse and light. Daro, Rafa, Jose and the rest of the team are amazing, funny people and I couldn't wish for a better first experience. I made 2 very good friends from Scotland and US, my time there was amazing and I only regret not having done it sooner. The place is amazing, the location is remote and might look scary to get to at first, but it's worth it!

My experience at the lodge was amazing. I spent several weeks in contact with nature, meeting people from other countries, and participating in incredible activities. The hacienda is located in a beautiful and peaceful place. Daro and the staff at the hacienda are amazing, I recommend the lodge to anyone looking for a unique and exciting experience in contact with nature and culture.

Esta fue la mejor experiencia que tuve en Worldpackers. Maravilloso lugar con gente acogedora! Hay mucho trabajo que hacer aquí y todo se hace con mucho amor y dedicación, ¡los empleados son maravillosos! Paqui, Sonia, Rafa, José ❤️❤️❤️. Host Álvaro es un gran compañero y siempre nos hace sentir muy cómodos. La comida y el alojamiento son excelentes, la vivienda y la comida son las mismas que las de los invitados. el alojamiento se merece mil estrellas! ⭐️❤️
