Daro was a good host. You can tell he cares about his business. He helped us organize excursions to far away cities on the weekends . We definitely had miscommunication and it was frustrating at times.

Having to evaluate the experience here I have to admit that although the location is a beautiful place for guests and for nature lovers, the same cannot be said for the experience as a worldpackers travelers that for all this (inclusion, sociality, health of meals, water and services, behavior, personal privacy) left me very puzzled because reading the information on the proposal and the initial video call I certainly did not expect such an unprofessional experience, referring to this, I would consider changing the title first.

My time at the lodge was quite rough. I didn't get enough guidance for what they want me to do and when, also got some overlapping instructions which led me to not get into the flow of the place. Daro told that he doesn't like to be asked too many questions and that we should figure things out ourselves, which I understand because he had a lot on his plate, but it also led to situations where I felt lost and didn't feel comfortable asking about what to do. There were a lot of things that didn't work and so I had to leave earlier than planned. If you apply, you should know some Spanish

Thanks for your feedback. We know you should know some spanish, that's why we write it on the rules and explanations.

We are sorry because of the situation, there was the best experience ever. However, we did our part as we do always and things goes well.

Sometimes we need to see the big picture and start working from ourselves.

At the same time, please to all these new volunteers that want to come to us. Please read everything in advance and remember that the success of the experience is mostly up to you and how you adapt to our place.

We are always the same, more or less work depending on the season but the same atmosphere and values. We learn form everyone and each situation, nevertheless if you are willing for an epic experience please be proactive, kind and follow the few rules we have to create such an amazing team!

Mi experiencia en la granja ha sido fantástica desde el día uno. Empezando por la amabilidad, cordialidad y calidez del anfitrión, de la gente que allí trabaja y de los voluntarios que tuve la oportunidad de conocer. La comunicación con el anfitrión era constante por lo que siempre tuve claro mis tareas, horas de trabajo y días de descanso. Aprendí mucho de las tareas que realicé, fueron variadas y de diferente complejidad; lo que más destaco es el compañerismo y trabajo en equipo que prevalecía a la hora de trabajar. El lugar es muy tranquilo, las habitaciones privadas muy cómodas.

This was my first volunteering experience, so I had little expectations going into it and was just hoping for a meaningful experience. I feel like I got that! I connected with amazing people and was able to hear about different cultures as well as try different foods. It was nice to feel safe and taken care of while being so far from home. If you are someone who likes to feel apart of a community then this experience could be right for you! This experience has made me excited to use Worldpackers again!

Volunteering here was my 1st WP experience and it has set the bar very high. The farm is so beautiful, a great place to go between visiting busy cities. Everyone was very kind, helpful and patient. Alvaro and the other volunteers made my time fun and the tasks clear. It was great cooking together and learning how to make the world's best rice. I'm especially going to miss Rafael and Sonia! They didn't speak English but I still fell in love with them. Everyone made sure I learned a lot of Spanish and took time to type things out in Google translate if the message wasn't getting through. 10/10

Fue una experiencia inolvidable! El lugar es increíble, muy tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza. El equipo es muy bueno, y todos son muy muy amables, así que trabajar en los eventos es divertido porque todos ayudamos y hacemos un buen ambiente. Totalmente recomendado si estás dispuest@ a aprender nuevas habilidades y quieres vivir algo totalmente distinto. Me llevo una parte de la granja a Colombia<3

Ame hacer mi primer voluntariado en la hacienda 😍 desde el día uno te sientes como en un hogar, estar con los animalitos interactuar y estar rodeado de la naturaleza todo el tiempo es maravilloso, el equipo de trabajo es asombroso 😍 Rafa, paqui, Eli y soni te hacen sentir muy agradable con sus chistes y risas ☺️ y Álvaro es un excelente houst te ayuda a organizar en tus tiempos libres los viajes y los disfrutas mucho 😆 Sin duda alguna volvería a la granja, los llevo en ni corazón ♥️

Beautiful location, tranquil and surrounded by nature. The whole team is lovely, work hard, and have a lot of fun. A great place to recharge and try out lots of cool activities. The animals are so cute! Ideal place to practice Spanish but study to a good level before. I came with basics and wasn't enough to get the most out of the experience. It was frustrating and isolating at times because everyone else was fluent. Only negative is that it was agreed that I would be doing mostly marketing tasks but ended up doing very little. I hadn't really packed the best clothes for the other jobs.

In the farm I had my first volunteering experience and it was wonderful. All the staff were very kind and patient with me. Alvaro was very helpful. They welcomed me like family. I will always remember this experience and the people I had the pleasure of meeting. Very useful to learn and improve my Spanish and to relate with people from all over the world. the farm is a place in the Andalucía countryside recommended for those who want to be in contact with nature and animals. I hope to return soon!
