My experience in the shelter army hospital was amazing, I meet amazing people there, the experience with animals is amazing because I learned how to care of dogs, you really can have big participation in the life for dogs, you can see the surgery, go on an expedition to save dogs, everything is complete. The house where we stay is full of equipment, you can also take care of dogs there because you live with dogs. Bravo to the doctor and his close team who work 7 days a week to help animals, it's a real passion and it shows.

I stayed at the shelter Army for 2 weeks and wish I could have extended much longer. The foundation does amazing work for it's local dogs and cats, even when less fortunate owners are unable to afford treatment. Carl was very good at coordinating everything and all tasks were exactly as described. The shared houses are very sociable and we met some great people. The doc is a very kind and intelligent man and I definitely think showing an interest in surgeries and asking questions goes a long way. The turnover of dogs is quite high, so don't get too attached!

We had the most amazing experience at the shelter Army! The actual day to day work is easy. Cleaning cages, feeding and generally just giving the dogs some love and attention, but you will get a sweat on in the Thai heat. Getting to watch the surgeries was a huge highlight! Really appreciate the doctor taking the time to explain everything he was doing. We learnt so much! We were very lucky to be there at the same time as a fab group of volunteers from around the world. It really made the experience for us! Would go back to A.Army in a heartbeat! Especially when we decide to adopt a dog ourselves!

Hi! This was my first experience volunteering this far, but even then I felt like at home with my family thanks to the wonderful people there. Carl is the manager and thanks to his good English, communication was very easy. The Doctor is very helpful and good at his job and as a vet student it gave me another great experience. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, the food was very good, the same as care for us. I can only recommend this place, and I really feel in love with the place, people and dogs ❤️

I can recommend the shelter Army to everyone who likes animals especially dogs and at the same time likes meeting new people. We spent a really beautiful 2 weeks there and it went by very quickly. We felt safe at the surroundings. The doctor gave us very useful experiences, for which I am very grateful, as I am studying Veterinary assistance. I want to higlight Carl, because he really took care about our comfort. Thank you so much again an maybe I will come back one day👌🏼

I had an amazing time at the shelter Army Foundation ! I felt like I was helping the animals there (dogs and cats) and it was a meaningful and rewarding experience. The workload depends on the number of volunteers and animals at the time, for me it was totally OK and I also had plenty of time to rest. Joy and Tam, the local workers, and the Dr. were really nice to work with and it was easy to connect with the other travellers. Also the house where we live is nice ! Carl, the coordinator, is really nice and makes sure you are having the best time possible ! Don't hesitate to help them !

It was one of the most amazing experiences, not all days were easy, but it was most definitely rewarding being able to help the animals and feel like making a difference. Im very happy to have been able to do my first volunteer work with the shelter Army. It is true that there are days with more work than others, and sometimes at the end of the day we are tired, but happy. To see the animals recover, be happy even when they have gone through many sad things, for me it was enriching. I think the clinic is quite well organized, the vet has a lot of experience and the people who work with him are really people who help you in everything and do everything. fortunately I took with me friends and a nice experience. If you like dogs i recommend volunteering here. Thanks

The shelter Army is a nice charity to work for, feels like they are really making a difference to the animals of the local area! You spend some hours working in the morning and then in the afternoon helping to clean cages, feed the dogs and walk the dogs. A lot of free time in the middle of the day too. Not loads in the local area but can relax at the house/visit night market/visit Pattaya on day off.

Me recibieron muy bien. La casa donde quedamos es grande y hay aire condicionado. Los otro voluntarios eran muy majos. El trabajo no es duro y si te gustan los perros, te gustará el trabajo. Lo Recomiendo!
