Spending time volunteering at the dog the shelter center in Thailand was one of the most rewarding and heartwarming experiences of my life. Working with the rescued dogs was both meaningful and eye-opening. Each the shelter had its own story, and being part of their journey toward recovery and trust was incredibly special. Whether it was feeding, walking, cleaning, or simply giving them love and attention, every task felt like it mattered.

We had two great weeks of spending time with the dogs, seeing them improve and heal with time and spend a good time in the team together. I really recommend the stay:)

This experience was amazing!! The host, carl, is so sweet and kind and is always there if you need help with anything at all! What they do at this foundation is so inspiring and they have saved soo many animals lives in Thailand, it was a pleasure to be apart of it. I wish I extended my stay longer and I already miss the dogs sooo much!! If you are an the shelter lover this is the perfect place to volunteer!! Great accommodation, great food, great location and you are making such a difference in these animals lives!! I couldn't recommend this experience enough!! I hope to be back soon!!

My experience at the shelter Army was wonderful. The work was manageable and I got to meet many other international volunteers! I am grateful for the rare opportunity to observe several surgeries during my time there, and I absolutely adore the residents. We had a good amount of time to explore the area during our breaks and days off. Overall, it was a very eye-opening experience for me and I would recommend it to anyone who loves animals!

Had a great time over there! great for veterinary students who wants to learn more about surgery and the shelter missions (optional to go). the puppies and dogs there were really friendly! there's a few slightly aggressive ones but it's managed by the local volunteer there so it was all good :D the living conditions were not bad, there's a laundry machine, AC, proper toilet and everything. met many friendly worldpackers there too :)

As an aspiring vet student, I really enjoyed my experience at the shelter Army, since not only did i get to care for animals with disabilities (which I didn't really have any experience in beforehand), but I also got to witness and assist in surgeries. The place was nice and very authentic, I particularly enjoyed the night market, although it closes quite early. The team was always available for my needs before, during and after my stay. Overall a positive experience!

My experience was really rewarding, I learned a lot from each the shelter I had contact with and to understand more about their needs, they are really grateful beings and I could feel it, all the volunteers I worked with were very nice and the people at the clinic were very kind and collaborative, overall it was a great experience that I'm glad I had :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the shelter Army and were so sad that we couldn't stay longer. Our tasks and responsibilities were communicated well, the staff are all so friendly and welcoming , and we could see the positive impact that the clinic had on the animals and the surrounding community. We also found plenty to do in our free time, and got on well with the other volunteers. If you're an the shelter lover you will fall in love with this place :)

You won't want to leave this place. The only thing I regret is not staying more. The dogs both at the clinic and at the house are amazing, you wake up and go to bed with them greeting you. You'll meet amazing people from every part of the world and also very nice locals. The work itself is very chill and flexible, just one shift of a couple hours in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. Of course this depends on how many dogs are at the clinic. You clean, you walk and feed the dogs and above all cuddle them! Please take extra care of the sweet Corie :)
