Volunteering at New Stay Inn has been an amazing experience! I stayed for 5 weeks and shared a room with the other volunteers. The managers, Hara & Josh, are truly kindhearted and welcoming, always making sure you feel included and supported. There are set working hours and work varies depending on the number of rooms. If you finish early, you're free to enjoy the rest of your day. Most shifts take 2–3 hours. The hostel provides basics like rice, bread, eggs, kimchi, etc. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. I've made wonderful memories, met amazing people, and truly enjoyed my time in Korea!

Working at the hostel one definitely one of the best things I've decided to do. Working with Hara and Josh was so much fun. And my roommates (the other volunteers) became my amazing friends throughout my trip. I'm truly grateful that I was able to come to Seoul to experience so many fun things and work with some amazing people. The work itself is a bit physically challenging BUT it's not too much and the managers always help out where they can! The hostel itself is very clean and modern, so you will definitely feel at home. Highly recommend!

I worked in Cave hostel. So this review is for that place. I think now they have separate account for Cave hostel. Anyway, the work in Cave is not hard, usually there's not a lot room to clean. I think new volunteer supposed to help with cleaning in another hostel too now. The managers are kind and taking good care of the volunteers. The volunteer room was comfortable, provided it was kept clean by the volunteers.

I had an amazing time volunteering at Cave Guest House. The managers were kind and considerate, and our tasks—cleaning 1-3 rooms and common areas like the rooftop, kitchen, and stairs—were manageable, starting at 11 AM and ending by 2 PM. The food supply was abundant, including bread, spreads, rice, and kimchi, and the fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. I shared a dorm room with three co-volunteers and enjoyed one free drink daily. I could also do remote work in the kitchen or café. Connecting with my co-volunteers and exploring Seoul made this a rewarding experience. Highly recommended!

I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at this hostel in Seoul for two months, and it was an unforgettable experience. The managers were absolutely amazing, so kind, welcoming, and always ready to share a laugh. They made me feel at home from the very beginning, and their support meant a lot to me. The hostel itself has such a warm and friendly atmosphere, perfect for meeting people from all over the world. I've made wonderful connections with both fellow volunteers and guests, creating memories I'll cherish forever. Thank you to everyone!

I had a great experience living at the hostel for ca 7 weeks. Working there you are friend first and worker second. The managers take great care of us volunteers and are fun to be around. I also had amazing volunteers to live with and go on small adventures with (mainly dinner and karaoke hahahah) Cleaning can obviously be a nasty job sometimes but the work isn't too hard and hours were often less than expected. Usually the work can be done within 3hours or less. The hours are also nice because other than with most other volunteering gigs I've done you get the afternoon to yourself.

I am so grateful to Hara and Josh for making my experience here at the hostel so wonderful! I immediately felt so welcomed and comfortable and they always made sure I had all the support I needed throughout my stay. I could not have picked a better place to work at. I have made some incredible friends and wonderful memories. It was my first time in South Korea and I would love to come back again and work here I loved it so much. I could not be more thankful!

This is my first experience with Worldpackers and it's truly worthwhile. The daily work isn't stressful, I can usually finish it in 2-3 hours, leaving the rest of the day free. They provide a variety of food like eggs, milk, bread... and also take us out for meals sometimes or cook for us. The hotel is close to Myeongdong, with 3 subway stations nearby, and there's a convenience store right downstairs, so it's very convenient for getting around. The luckiest part for me is meeting wonderful hosts like Hara and Josh, as was well as other friendly volunteers. I will always cherish my time here.

Este voluntario ha sido el primero que he hecho. Me vine a Corea del Sur con una mochila a las espaldas, sin saber que me encontraría. No pude haber elegido mejor voluntariado. Hara, Josh and John son unos anfitriones super encantadores y acogedores. The hostel was my first experience with worldpackers and it was the best ever! Hara amd Josh really make you feel welcome and try to help as much as they can, the work is pretty easy and most of the time just takes a few hours so it leaves plenty of time to visit the city. The hosts are also really flexible with the dates so if you organize you could also travel around Korea. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that want to experience life in Seoul, here you will really feel at home!
