This was my first experience with worldpackers and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend it to everyone! Nuno, Rodrigo, the staff and the other volunteers were very friendly and easy going and the place felt like home. The work is not too difficult and requests are taken into account. You still have enough free time to explore the hostel or surrounding cities, surf or spend time with the other volunteers. I love this place and the atmosphere and couldn't have imagined it better! :)

This was my first worldpackers experience and it couldn't have gone better! I felt so welcome within the first day i already felt comfortable and like i was at home, i enjoyed my stay here so much and would recommend it a million times, i made incredible memories with people from all around the world! Best hostel ever ❤️❤️❤️

I don't have enough words to describe my experience at the hostel, I can say that it was one of the best moments of my life and that the memories I made there will be eternal. The work carried out was flexible, fun and taught me a lot during the 2 months I stayed at the hostel. I write today to thank the entire management team and my volunteer colleagues for making me feel at home. Thank you and see you soon.

It was one of the best experiences of my life. You immediately feel part of a big family. The work is adequate and not too heavy. The shifts are well divided and you have plenty of free time to surf, visit the hostel and much more. Nuno, Tomas and Rodrigo made me feel at home, whatever "problem" or request there was we talked about it and solved it all together.What the hostel tries to do is just that, make you feel in a big family and it was an honor to have been able to contribute to creating this atmosphere. Thanks again , hope to see you soon again :)

Truly a one of a kind experience!! I loved staying and working here, it felt like a home away from home. The staff at the hostel and the hostel as well as the other volunteers created a close and fun loving community. The memories I made here will never be forgotten and was perfect for a first time volunteer. All of the little flaws were what made this experience truly unique and fun. Nuno looks out for all the volunteers well-being to ensure they are happy and enjoying living in carcavelos. If you want to learn or already enjoy surfing this is a great opportunity!

Volunteering at LSC was the best decision for my summer. From the very first moment I felt welcome with Nuno, Tomas, and all the amazing volunteers I met. I enjoyed every second of it, met amazing people, explored new places, and create memories that I will cherish for ever. Thank you Nuno for always being a great leader, but also a friend. The tasks are easy, the schedules are well balanced so it gives you time to enjoy the hostel and surroundings areas, the people is incredible. I'm very glad I helped to put the grounds for what would be (and already is) an amazing hostel.

Volunteering at the hostel was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to open this hostel with Nuno and the most wonderful team of people. As the first volunteer to arrive, I've watched this place transform from an empty building into a flourishing, successful place for travellers across the world. Nuno really made us all feel taken care of, and ensured we were able to explore everything the hostel has to offer. I'm so grateful to have been a part of the opening team and this hostel will always have a special place in my heart :)

Nuno went above and beyond and cared for volunteers on a personal level ensuring our comfort. The work in the hostel is not difficult but as it is new, volunteers will be learning with the management as things are constantly changing. Nuno has staff interests in mind when it comes to everything and happily takes on any suggestions to improve the hostel and the volunteer experience. I loved this hostel so much that I decided to stay longer because I didn't want to leave! This was my first Worldpackers experience and was for sure unforgettable with many memories made.

I had an awesome experience opening this hostel! Nuno does a great job making all the volunteers feel at home and will help you with anything you need. The balance between work and free time is very fair. For those volunteering soon, keep in mind that everything is still very new, so things are still somewhat disorganized - but everything is coming together day by day and future volunteers will have more structure for the work. The location is amazing and I made the most incredible friends. I even extended my stay for an extra week because I was having so much fun!

Even though there were some things missing, Nuno made this place a home for me this past month. I met the best people and had the best time. Thank you Nuno for making this experience unforgettable. Fair work hours, good location, enough free time to explore surrounding cities like the hostel or Cascais. I definitely recommend!
