My time at Masseria was very pleasant, Cinzia made me feel at home. I had the opportunity to perfect my Italian, meet people from all over the world and even do this adventure with my dog. Ahh... of course try the typical Italian food from Cinzia and Antonio, which is very delicious! ! Regarding work, we collect olives and help serve food to customers. The collection is hard work but the schedules and days of rest are always respected. I thank you for receiving us in this way, until next time..

The time at the masseria was very nice. I improved my Italian, I connected with nature and the animals of the countryside. My partner and I went with Nilo, our little dog, and he was very well accepted. We had the opportunity to share with people from all over the world who participated in projects that were being carried out there. Cinzia and Antonio welcomed us very well, always with respect and good will, they were in charge of cooking. We feel at home. The work is hard, but it is done without problems, work is in the morning and then the rest of the day is free.

Although the place was beautiful and charming. The events organized were super nice and the international guests were fantastic, there were some issues that made me leave in one week and two other volunteers left with me as well. Marco and Jessica that organize these events are super nice and caring but they are not living there and come sometimes so we had to spend time with their father who wasn't speaking any English and he was a bit disrespectful towards us so we didn't feel really welcomed and were a bit uncomfortable around him. We felt like he doesn't like us or other people around.

While I genuinely valued the concept and purpose of the program, there were some significant issues during my stay that caused 3 people to leave early. There was an incident that left me deeply concerned about the safety and well-being of all volunteers involved. The father of the household, displayed extremely inappropriate and aggressive behavior while a couple of female volunteers were in the kitchen, leaving at least one in a state of fear and distress. While the program's concept was admirable and the work we were tasked with was fulfilling the conduct of the father was not to be desired

A beautiful place, but I left early with other 2 WP. The work is kinda heavy, after 5 hours under the sun haverstig we also have to clean inside and cook for us. First the meals were provided and much appreciated bc we were all so tired after working, but things changed. The ppl at the farm only speaks Italian which wasnt informed beforehand so it was always awkward, we didn't feel welcomed and sometimes very disrespected. Thank you for the rides, bc the farm is far from the city and we all only had 1 bike. By addressing these issues, the volunteers would feel more welcomed and appreciated :)
