I got to spend almost a month at the hostel and I can truly say I am changed forever. The staff and volunteers are really the best, and if you take the time to get to know everyone you'll understand why. (Shoutout to Rebeca <3) The volunteer kitchen also just got an upgrade, and I know that the owners are really trying to make this place great and have cool plans for the future. I recommend this to someone who is willing to engage in the culture and be open to help out when they can. The terrace is amazing with the best view! Oh and don't forget to listen to Mauri sing! I'll miss you all!!!

Para mí fue una buena experiencia, se respetó lo acordado y el trabajo fue relajado, hubo flexibilidad a la hora de solicitar días libres, pude conocer Quito con tranquilidad porque estaba en un lugar céntrico, el lugar es cómodo y Bien equipado para una buena estadía.

¡Hola! 🤗🙏 Mi experiencia fue increíble en el hostel. El personal, el equipo de voluntarios, la interacción con los huéspedes, el intercambio de idiomas y conocer de otras culturas, fue enriquecedora, de verdad una experiencia única. Volvería sin duda alguna, lo recomiendo al 100%.

The hostel es un excelente hogar para voluntariado, el equipo estaba muy bueno y la proposta de trabajo es transparente y coerente. Lo recomendo!

Thank you Kat and Santiago for this great time! I felt really welcomed and respected throughout the stay. The most amazing thing for me is that the working hours are known beforehand, they are quite flexible and you work exactly what was indicated (and the work is really easy and chill!). I got to meet many guests from all around the world and other volunteers. I also had more than enough time to travel around the city (thank you Kat for the advice and lifehacks!). One thing that bothered me a bit was the condition of the kitchen. Still, all in all, it's a very nice place :)

The hosts are just lovely, they are really trying so you can have a great time. I had some problems to deal with and they helped me wherever they could. They are really flexible with the working hours and you can easily da 3 day trip over your 2 free days and it might even be possible to da 4 day trip. The food from the cook is amazing and there is basically some event every evening, but one. All in all I would recommend this voluntary to anyone, because you have the advantage of a city and can escape into the mountains or the jungle whenever you want.

Kath saved me from having a bad time at my prevous volunteering so im really thankful for that. I got to know a lot of cool travelers that are into nature and also i got obsesed with these anvient trails and had a lot of fun. Parties around Quito are the best! Hugs

The hostel was a great place for my first volunteer opportunity, Kat and Santi are such great people and they were so willing to help throughout my exchange. The staff and other volunteers were all so friendly and really create a fun and laid back atmosphere. The hostel has a nice rooftop area with a firepit and amazing views of Quito as well. The hostel may be just getting its feet underneath it but I enjoyed my time and I hope to return someday!
