I volunteered at the hostel for one month. The cleaning and housekeeping work is not tough and can be done with in around 2 hours. There are usually two volunteers who clean each day and you can specify if you can't work on specific days. I worked at the reception a few times as well and it's also quite simple and straight to the point. I stayed at the 10 bed dorm with the guests which took some adjusting to, but I gradually got used to it. I met some nice people during my stay and I'm grateful for the team for being welcoming and friendly.

Really good place, very convenient. The work is easy and you finish early, so you can have time to enjoy Osaka and around. The host is nice and easy going, and give you the days you want. I Recommand the hostel for volunteering at Osaka. Thank you Hide San for having me.

I had a good experience while volunteering at the hostel. The job is easy as past volunteers mention too. It depends on how busy is the hostel but I never worked more than 2 hours per day. You can choose the days you want off, except for when Hide-san, the owner, really needs your help. He's nice and I feel he will only ask things from you if only necessary. I met some really nice people while staying here and had enough free time to move around and visit all the places I wanted :)

This was a great first experience and I got to meet and befriend guests and staff from all parts of the world and all walks of life! The location is amazing and facilities are good, and the work is clear cut and leaves a lot of time to explore osaka and surrounding cities. The host is very accomodating about scheduling and very fun. would recommend checking this volunteering opportunity out for those looking to experience japan! feel free to message me to find out a bit more!

This was my first experience in a hostel and I absolutely recommend it. I enjoyed sharing with other volunteers and some guests being able to meet people from different countries. The place is cozy and the work is simple, I helped in cleaning and reception, being able to choose my days off if I needed it. Thank you very much for the experience and the good vibes!

I had a great time at the hostel and made several new friends by meeting guests and hanging out with the other volunteers. The work was super chill--a maximum of 3 hours a day for 5 days a week. Hide-san is friendly and sometimes even gives us small snacks after our shifts. He also has a very "Osakan" sense of humor that he likes to share with guests and volunteers alike. Thank you for this experience!

My staying at the hostel was really nice. It has a great location and that makes exploring convenient, and well connected to trains that go to Nara, Himeji and Kobe. Work was easy to learn and carried out mostly in the morning. Also, there is good balance between japanese and foreigner guests, so you can interact with all kind of people. Overall, I recommend this experience:)

It was a really nice experience, the place was very centric It has been a very pleasant experience. The location is central, making it highly convenient. The facilities are well-maintained, and everything you need is provided. The working hours are not too long, so you have plenty of time to do as you wish afterward. I encountered some issues with the host due to certain circumstances, but we managed to resolve them in the end. I truly hope everything goes well for them.
