This hostel is truly one of a kind. Its facilities are great and it really does feel like a second home! During off-season it is quiet but the host does plan some parties so if you go, make sure to enjoy those fully!! If not, take the time to relax and enjoy the nature on your days off, it is beautiful. Rino made everything so much better, he took care of me and made sure I was comfortable with anything I needed. Thank you for letting me stay over and get to know you, I will be back to Albania!!

My experience in the hostel was amazing! Rino is a very good host, always with good vibes, smiling and trying to make you feel comfortable!! The hostel is big and tidy with an excellent location and on the fist floor it has a beautiful the hostel. I loved the City of Shkodër, mix of religions and cultures coliving surrounded by nature. I really recommend to do this volunteering!

Having Maira volunteer at Bed Station was an absolute pleasure and a true stroke of luck. She wasn’t just helpful—she was unexpectedly amazing. A natural organizer, she brought a sense of structure and calm that transformed our space. The practical systems she put in place are still part of our daily routine, and we continue to benefit from her thoughtful work. I’m deeply grateful for everything she contributed, and I truly hope our paths cross again very soon.

I had a short yet good experience at the hostel. The place is beautiful, the people are kind and Rino was always so kind trying to make me feel comfortable and trying to help me with whatever I needed. I had to leave sooner than expected but it was easy to talk to Rino about it. I hope to come back at a different season to enjoy more of Shkodër

Nice experience, nice hostel, hours respected. the hostel is beautiful. They give you 1 free coffee a day. I was there for two weeks and only had 1 day off. Communication could be better. Important the food provided is only rice and pasta and things left by other volunteers or guests. Although during my stay we were also given eggs, vegetables and beans. It is not a cultural experience. The treatment of volunteers can be better. I appreciate my time there.

Yender is a polite person with good communication skills. However, when it comes to work, I would not strongly recommend him. During his stay, he did not show much willingness to contribute. Compared to other volunteers, he was also the only one with frequent complaints about the food, often asking for different options than what was normally provided. Unfortunately, I did not have a very positive experience overall, and it was not a good match with the spirit we usually share with our volunteer

It was a great volunteer experience at the hostel, Rino is a nice guy who will make you feel comfortable. Lots of music events at the hostel you can attend which helps meeting new friends and locals. :)

An incredible experience. The most comfortable hostel I've ever been to, and Rino (the owner) is very patient and flexible. the hostel behind the hostel is the perfect place to meet people and have fun, not to mention that the hostel is very well located, right on the most touristic street in the city. Thank you for everything!

Volunteering at the hostel was such a great experience. The team there is so warm and welcoming - they really make the day-to-day tasks easier and are always ready to have some fun. The work can be challenging if you're the only volunteer, as it involves things like laundry, ironing cleaning beds. They always have amazing parties and events on the weekends, so you'll get to connect with people from all over the world and have an absolute blast. Jade, the manager, was exceptional, we can't recommend this opportunity enough so grateful for the one and a half months spend there. Nano & Pao.

Volunteering at the hostel was great! The work was very reasonable and the hours were always respected. It was awesome getting to know the staff as well as talk to all the guests as they passed through the hostel. Since the hostel has a the hostel attached, there's events most weekends which is a great way to hang out more with the staff, but also get to meet people who live in Shkodër
