Detalhes

We are really looking for volunteers with experience and/or education. Someone who is able to build with wood. We need especially people who can handle a chain saw, sawing machine and brush cutter. We build compost toilets, shower rooms, a chicken coop, raised garden boxes. We cut down trees and process them into firewood and for building. We are also looking for people who have experience or education in growing fruit trees and vegetables. Preferably biodynamic, but that is not a must. If you feel addressed, you are very welcome to join us for a while in this unique place.
We are also looking for people who like to cook and do household chores, such as laundry and cleaning.

Atividades & Turnos

Our days begin at the rooster crowing. First we milk the goats and take care of the chickens and cats and then ourselves. During breakfast we discuss who will do what this day. Then we get to work in the garden: watering, weeding, sowing, planting, harvesting and pruning.
We also work on all current large and smaller projects: building raised beds, a compost toilets, an outdoor showers, an outdoor kitchen, a new chicken house and make a pond.
In and around the house you help with baking bread, making yogurt, preserving and fermenting vegetables and fruit, making kefir, cheese and kombucha and various household chores. At noon there is a joint warm vegetarian lunch that requires cooking. At the end of the afternoon we walk with the goats in the mountains to let them graze.

Regras

We are really looking for someone who is an experienced builder or handyman. Sometimes the work might also include cooking , cleaning, animal care, painting or gardening. If both sides like our cooperation, a longer stay is possible in consultation.
