My time in the hostel was just amazing!! We had a room with 3 beds for the staff and in the beginning it was just for girls, that was really nice. there is an area outside that we always spend hours talking and chilling. The work is easy and sometimes the time of ur shift change a little bit but they always told us before so we could plan our day. Elfie is the manager and she is the one that we had more contact, she is sweet and honest about what they expect from you and the rules of the job. And Jamie's food is amazing, I recommend this place 100%. I could travel a lot when I was there( :

I had a great time at the hostel, I felt so welcomed when I came here, even if I was a bit scared because it was my first tome traveling alone, my fear was gone after 5 minutes I arrived! The work is great and you still have enough time doing something else or exploring other cities. Jamie's food always made my day better and it felt like a little family when we met for dinner and ate together. Nijmegen as itself is a funny student city, with the whole going out experience but also a lot of beautiful nature. I met the best people here and I would wish coming back soon!

I had good time in nijmegen, the hotel's staff are so nice and the city is so beautiful and always there are something to do there. In the begin it was hard to understand how that hostel work, but after it the experience was good. thanks 🙏

My experience at the hostel was great! Nijmegen is a wonderful place: beautiful, safe, full of parks and festivals, perfect to ride a bike. You can get anywhere in the city or visit others by bike. I wish I could live there forever! The other volunteers were fantastic. I loved to spend time talking to them. Joep, our host, was very nice. He is calm, friendly and easygoing. He allows the environment of the hostel be relaxed, he makes we feel comfortable there and gives us a lot of freedom. I am grateful for the time I spent there. I miss already. These were special days.

Nijmegen it is a perfect place if you are interesting to visit the surrounding of here. The hostel is located 10 minutes from the train station and 2 minutes from the center. You have everything very close like river, parks, shopping, bar or restaurant. So, you can be volunteering and you always can make some extra activities. Joep, is a great host and the hours of work are easy. Your duties here can be reception, clean the hostel, clean the restaurant and help in the bar/kitchen. The daily dinner( Wednesday- Sunday) was always lekker, Dankjewel Jemie. The staff was super, thanks Elfi too.

So, That's my first experience with volunteer work in the Hostel and the hostel is a good place to start this kind of experience. The owner and other staffs are really great and patient with the volunteers. I really enjoy the meals because James is an excellent chef, all meal was amazing and they did vegetarian and Vegan options. The hostel is small, so the work is really easy and Nijmegen, the Netherlands in general, is a good place to practice English. I'm really glad to start my volunteer at this hostel. So, probably everyone will like to spend some time there.

The experience in the Hostel was good. It's a local quiet and cleaned. It was a different experience for me, because it was my first travel alone. But it was ok.

It was my first time as a worldpacker, and I was a bit scared before I went, but as soon as I arrived I was very well received by the team. The Odessa staff is amazing, just like Kim, I go out of there with the woman I met, as well as all the people she kept around, creating a great atmosphere of conviviality and work; the team were super cool to work together, we really turned all friends. I arrived in the middle of the festivals, so the work was also very intense. I do not know how to begin to explain in a few words, but if you are looking for a life experience I recommend Nijmegen.

Staying in the hostel was a wonderful experience! The working hours were flexible and the work is pretty easy. The staff is nice and there's always someone avaliable to help when you need. Nijmegen is a nice city to enjoy and helping at the hostel is an awesome way to spend your time there, giving and receiving! I definetly recommend it. Thanks Kim, Costa and everyone else for the nice stay!
