I'm so grateful for the experience I had at IIVero hostel! You meet many people from all around the world and do lots of things together as the hostel is very social. Also, the hosts Juan and Santi are super nice and respect the working hours. If you're thinking about volunteering there, I'd say do it!

The hostel totally feels like a big shared flat with a lot of housemates. It's so easy to get to know new people and have fun! Every week spent there felt like a month for the amount of experiences I was lucky to have and I bring all the team and the guests met in my heart <3 Don't think it twice and book that flight for Buenos Aires, I truly had the most amazing experience of my life.

Mi experiencia como voluntario en el hostel es increíble. Juan y Santi, los dueños, son excelentes anfitriones: atentos, organizados y con muy buena energía, le ponen el corazon a todo. El grupo de voluntarios fue de lo mejor, se generó una vibra hermosa entre todos que hizo que cada momento —tanto dentro del hostel como en las actividades fuera— sea inolvidable para nosotros y también para los huéspedes, quienes siempre quedaban conformes. Estoy súper agradecido, contento y con amigos nuevos. ¡Gracias el hostel por tanto! Recomiendo esta experiencia al 100%.

It's the start of something truly great, there at Il Vero. This hostel has just been taken over by two new owners. These new owners are wonderful people who really care about the hostel and the home-away-from-home community that they are building - just wait until you see : ) They are travelers themselves, so they have an excellent and well-informed vision. The hostel itself is a really sweet old corner building with a very classy vintage front door and a nice open rooftop in a cozy neighborhood (with the best gelato only a couple blocks away). I felt like I lived in Buenos Aires these weeks !

I spent a month at the hostel. The owners Juan and Santi were kind and friendly to volunteer alongside. They made sure to make all the volunteers feel welcome and included. There were various tasks involved including: reception, day/night social activities with the guests, cleaning, and night shifts. They were sure to answer and action any change suggested by the volunteers. I would recommend this experience to anyone and look back at my time with good memories.

Mi experiencia en el hostel en Buenos Aires Argentina fue muy buena ,me divertí bastante ,conocí personas de todos los lados del mundo … Juancito y Santiago fueron muy fieles con lo escrito en la página ,siempre cumplieron el acuerdo y fueron buenos anfitriones … Fue mi primera experiencia en un hostel como voluntario y me fue muy bien,nunca lo había hecho y quería experimentar y aprender los oficios que este conlleva ,aprendí algo de recepción en hostelería y practiqué mis habilidades de atención al cliente … Sin duda fue una experiencia magnífica,Gracias chicos por la oportunidad 🙏

Mi tiempo en IL Vero Hostel fue una experiencia realmente increíble e inolvidable. Desde el primer día, me sentí inmerso en un ambiente acogedor y dinámico, donde cada día me brindaba la oportunidad de aprender algo nuevo. Aunque comencé en el área de limpieza, pronto asumí la gestión de las redes sociales del hostel, que está más alineado con mi especialidad profesional. El apoyo constante de María Eugenia, la encargada principal, fue clave para mi rápida adaptación, ya que no solo me guió en mis primeras tareas, sino que también confió en mí para asumir mayores responsabilidades.

La verdad Giordano supero mis expectativas en todos los sentidos así que mi recomendación es al 100% . Se postulo como housekeeping demostrando responsabilidad, puntualidad, disposición e iniciativa y la semana coordinamos otras tareas en marketing digital, redes sociales que estaba más alineado a su espacialidad profesional así que su desempeño fue genial, resolutivo, puntual, compañero, respetuoso y profesional aportando grandes ideas para el hostel. My experience at Il Vero Hostel was wonderful, the hostel is a great place, it's very huge and I felt like at home. Eugenia and Leonard are really great people. Contrary to the description, there is not free laundry in the hostel. It was an opportunity to meet local people and learn new skills.
