I really enjoyed volunteering at the hostel. Since I was there during the low season, there weren't many guests, which allowed me to have some time to myself and enjoy the nature around me. If you're looking for a more social atmosphere, I'd recommend coming during the high season when there are more backpackers around. The staff is really friendly as well. One thing to note is that when I worked the morning shift from 8 am to 2 pm, I found I didn't have a lot of time left in the day to go out and do much, as it gets dark around 6 pm. But overall, the work itself is super chill.

I had a really relaxed time there i came during off season so there was barely something to do. i loved the vibe and people are really nice. the only minus for me would be the sleeping situation as it wasnt really clean. otherwise great experience, good food!! Thanks alot johnny!!!

Lovely experience! Because it's currently low season there wasn't much today but it was rly nice to chill and stay at one place after traveling for so long! The owner and the other staff is so nice had a rly nice time

I highly recommend volunteering at the hostel! It is very well set up for volunteers and everything is easy to learn. The work hours are respected. The team are amazing and you never feel alone. The hostel is beautiful, relaxing and a fun environment. I wish I stayed longer and I hope to return again!

It is a great place with great people working there to experience the local Cambodian lifestyle. Everyone is super nice and willing to help you with anything.

I had an amazing Time working here!! All of the Staff were so incredibly nice and funny, So that it really made you feel at home! Johnny is a great guy that definitely cares about his employees he was also so flexible and made it easy for the volunteers to have the best possible stay ! The Place in general is just beyond words gorgeous, you will really feel at home! The food is also super delicious and they have as others have already mentioned the cutest pets!! During low season of course it is not as busy so the work hours are rather chill! I would definitely recommend volunteering there:))

I immediately felt at home at the hostel. The staff and the other volunteers are the best and the atmosphere is so peaceful! I was staying here during low season so there was not a lot of work to do. Therefore, work included just talking to the guests, playing cards and cuddling the lovely animals (3 cats & 4 dogs). Definitely will come back to this place one day! 🫶🏻 Be prepared that the hardest part will be leaving this place! 🥺

The hostel is incredible :)) The staff are fantastic, Bros, Tak, and Run are so fun and helpful! They have all the answers and are so kind! The atmosphere there is also really great; its the perfect amount of relaxing in the morning and lively in the evenings, despite it being low season. Also, they were very courteous towards my working schedule and provided a quiet space with good internet to teach my classes. The wonderful kitchen ladies made amaaazing food; the best amok I've had in all of Cambodia! The other volunteers there were also amazing- Grace, Lena, and Nunshmid! 100/10 recommend!
