Sin duda alguna mi experiencia en el hostel fue increíble, todo el equipo de trabajo es muy amable, te explican las tareas a detalle y son muy pacientes, la atención de los manager también fue increíble, siempre atentos y abiertos a mejoras , Mérida es una ciudad súper segura y con mucha cultura, tiene muchos museos, cenotes y lugares increíbles cerca que te hacen disfrutar de la cultura y la naturaleza, súper recomiendo la experiencia

Ché the hostel is a really cool hostel to volunteer for. The team was welcoming and friendly. Most of the staff members can't speak any other language than Spanish. So i recommend you start learning Spanish before your trip to be able to communicate properly. The volunteer shifts were really relaxed. You only have to help the staff members with their tasks. The hostel is really good to develop your Spanish and English skills and they offer a lot of free tours for their volunteers. Only downside was the Wifi. It hardly worked in our dorm...

I'm so grateful to have chosen the hostel as my first volunteering experience. Everyone was so welcoming & accommodating, the people I met there truly made the experience 10 times better. The work is not hard & I learned so many new things. Love Love Love this hostel & this city, I would definitely return if I have the chance.

Such a gorgeous time with the hostel! It took almost no time to feel like part of the family, everyone was so kind and I've made some lifelong friends. Mérida is a very cute city, with great food, fun bars & cenotes nearby too! I've truly loved my time here and recommend it to anyone, especially for improving Spanish. Thank you to everyone who made my time here amazing <3

Mi experiencia en el hostel superó mis expectativas !!! Me sentí en casa desde el día 1,un lugar totalmente cómodo y tranquilo, con una buena vibra única!! es realmente hermoso y las personas que trabajan aquí aun más, todos y cada uno de ellos son increíbles!!! Estoy muy agradecida y feliz de haber encontrado este lugar magnífico, de explorar la ciudad, su cultura ,su gente .. lo eligiria mil veces más!!

Para mi fue mi primer voluntariado, la verdad estuve un poco incomoda pues algunas de las tareas eran muy peligrosas. Me llegué a enfermar del estómago varias veces. No sé preocupan por la salud de los voluntarios y tampoco te ayudan a mejorarte. Creo que no repetiría el mismo voluntariado. Aunque también aprendí y mejore mi Inglés y Frances . Fortaleci y mejore mi personalidad. Aprendi a ayudar a los demás.

Gracias por compartir tu experiencia con nosotros Jaz. No entiendo a qué te refieres con peligrosas: todas las actividades son sencillas y no exponen en ningún momento a los voluntarios. Es imprescindible que, si hay algún factor personal por lo que uno se siente inseguro, no generalizarlo como sucedió de asustar a huéspedes por percepciones personales que estaban fuera de la realidad. Espero que te lleves buenas herramientas de aquí y que puedas utilizarlas a futuro para ser día a día una mejor voluntaria, algo para lo que de momento hay que trabajar demasiado, y se comienza con responsabilidad y proactividad. Es por eso que cancelamos tu siguiente estadía en nuestros hostels Che.
