I had my first volunteer experience at Black Dog Hostel, tasks are very easy with flexible shifts and you have a lot of free time to spend. My team and the host were great and this made me feel in a comfy place

This was my first ever time voulenteering in a hostel. I absolutely loved my experience here in Budapest made possible by worldpackers platform and my amazing hosts. Gabriella and her partner were very welcoming and the hostel I stayed at has a lovely homely vibe to it, had I had some great nights out with some guests, and had great laughs with the other voulenteers, and learned some Spanish too. The voulenteering work / hours are exactly as described on the app, and the tasks are fair. I was nervous about this trip but so glad I done it now ! Hostel is in a great location too :)

Una gran oportunidad para conocer la ciudad, Budapest es hermoso y el hostel queda muy cerca de todo lo atractivo del lugar, ademas que puedes conocer personas increíbles y practicar tu inglés, las instalaciones no son lo más cómodo pero es parte de la experiencia

It was a nice experience, chores are fair and host does honors the agreements previously established with you. Host is very flexible and allows you to do chores at your own rhythm as long as you get it done. Location can be a little bit difficult to find at first so better to always have a continuous communication with Host but afterwards is easy. It's on the heart of Budapest so everything is close. This location doesn't offer a room exclusively to volunteers so bring your 🔐 and be flexible. Other volunteers were very cool too. It was a really good experience :)

Recomiendo mucho esta experiencia, el hostal está muy bien ubicado, cerca de sitios de interés al igual que del servicio de transporte y supermercados. Las actividades son muy sencillas y rapidas de hacer, divididos en dos turnos 12pm-5pm y 5pm-10pm. Me dio mucho tiempo libre para conocer la ciudad, y sus al rededores. Gabriela es una host muy amable y siempre está en comunicación con los voluntarios. En definitiva, si regresaría aquí.
