The hostel is the perfect place to explore the Highlands! I stayed there for 1 month and for me that was enough to visit all tourist places. What makes the experience even better are the people, they welcomed me very well and everyone was very kind and friendly. I highly recommend!

The Isle of the hostel is a small paradise in the Scottish Highlands, featuring beautiful landscapes and breathtaking sights. The hostel, situated at the tip of the island and separated from the rest of the country by a fabulous bridge, is a comfortable house with a variety of spaces for resting, relaxing, and sharing experiences with people from all corners. Its staff, always with a friendly, easygoing attitude and a smile on their faces, make the volunteering experience pleasant, fun, and constructive. In my opinion, I had an unforgettable vacation and, for that, I will be eternally grateful.

My time in Kyleakin was truly special! This was my first volunteer experience with Worldpackers and it couldn't have been more perfect! I've made lifelong friends with other volunteers and some unforgettable memories. I had countless opportunities to explore the beautiful island of the hostel and meet its local people. The working hours are easy and fair, so you have lots of time to explore and relax. The team at the hostel were super friendly and welcoming. I will miss working with them. Honestly I didn't want to leave! Thank you for this experience and I'll miss you all! Mia xoxo

The hostel was my very first hostel I volunteered in and I'm so happy I stayed there! The work is really easy and the best part about volunteering in this hostel is the atmosphere. It's so easy the meet new people, socialize and make friends. The village Kyleakin is pretty small, but on days off you have the opportunity to join a guided group tour, which is really cool as well!! So yeah, if you're thinking about volunteering here and exploring the isle of the hostel I would definitely recommend!! :D

I loved my experience in the hostel! Not only I had the chance to team up with wonderful people but I also enjoyed the amazing nature that surrounds Kyleakin. I'm so grateful for the people I've met. I highly recommend this experience!

The hostel was my first volunteering and it was a very enriching experience. Kyleakin is a beautiful little village with a pub and well connected to the island by bus. During my two weeks there, I got to explore gorgeous landscapes and meet lovely people. The work was fair and straightforward. The managers, Alicia and Swinny were kind and flexible and enabled us volunteers of going on day trips together. When home sickness got the best of me, Alicia and Swinny reacted very well and let me of shorten stay which I am beyond grateful for. I would absolutely recommend!

My time on Isle of the hostel was great. The location is magical and it is a great place if you are looking for some time to relax and reset. I also made lots of amazing friends during my stay. Everyone is very lovely and I would recommend this place to volunteer.

My time at the hostel was pure magic! The isle, with its other-worldly landscapes, grand waterfalls, enchanting castles and ruins, and mystical glens, is rich in history and legend; there will always be something to see! Ruthie and Toni, the wonderful management, were always very helpful and kind, going out of their way so things ran smoothly, helping us with whatever we needed! They even took us on adventures around the area! I made precious memories with them that I'll never forget, so lucky to have met them. It was a very good experience, from the moment I arrived I was treated very well, Ruthie and Toni are very kind people, I was able to learn more about the beautiful Isle of the hostel and I also got to meet incredible people, the agreed conditions were always fulfilled, I definitely recommend it.
