This hostal is amazing, I went alone and never I feel alone because others volunteers were friendly and Niamh too . I improve my English a lot speaking with workers and guest. Was my first time alone in another country and working and was amazing, I recommend this place a lot.

Niamh is a wonderful host! She really cares about her volunteers & takes the time to check in & chat. This was my first WP trip & it could not have gone better. The work is straightforward & the hostel staff are welcoming & supportive. I made lovely friends & had an amazing time in Westport! There are many free outdoor activities (Westport House, the Greenway, Croagh Patrick) & you can walk to the bus or train easily. Multiple grocery stores, thrift/charity shops, pharmacies & restaurants are right down the street. Most importantly, Niamh & her staff will make you feel like part of the family!

My experience at the hostel has been very enriching. Not only because of my English, which I have improved, but because of the people who have accompanied me there. Niamh and the people who work at the hostel: Daniela, Thom, Fernando have helped me with everything, they are charming people who always help you with everything you need, they are very nice and make your experience unforgettable. They comply with everything they say in worldpackers and more.

Niahm is always careful to her team's needs and well-being. I myself cannot but thank her for taking such care of me, my body and my sul, as a friend does.. The job is easy in daily routine and not too much because the large number of volunteers allows a good distribution of tasks and dutie. Westport is a small and lovely town and a good starting point to explore County Mayo and the nearby ones.

Niamh is a warm, dedicated, and hardworking leader who cares just as much about each volunteer as she does the hostel. I felt so welcome and comfortable around her! She showed me the ropes while we enjoyed lively conversation together. I worked hard on my tasks each day not just because it was important for me to da good job: I wanted to make Niamh proud. I could not recommend Niamh higher to anyone looking to volunteer!!

Was a pleasure for me to stay there for those 3 weeks. Niamh give me so much facilities and the employers too. it was not so much work, and the town was very pretty and good connected to other places. J'ai passé 3 superbes semaines au the hostel Holiday Hostel. Niamh est une hôte à l'écoute et qui essaie d'aider le plus que possible ses volontaires. Les jours de repos à la suite permettent d'avoir suffisamment de temps pour visiter et profiter de la région. Enfin, j'ai pu travailler au sein d'une équipe aux fortes personnalités mais très attachantes! Merci

I felt at home from the first day I arrived. Niamh is an amazing person, always smiling and very welcoming. The room is comfortable, the work is very simple, and the host complied with everything that was agreed. Without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life as a volunteer. The city is small and calm, beautiful beaches very close. Daniela the Colombian manager is a sweet and cheerful person, always helps with communication and in everything that is needed.

This was such a great experience and I am very sad to leave! Niamh and all the other volunteers created an atmosphere that felt like a little family. We had the best laughs and the best of times. I made some great connections with the team - definitely long-lasting ones. I'm going to miss everyone but all the more reason to come back soon! Slainte!
