Where do I even begin. This experience has been absolutely fantastic. Thank you Vern and Randy for making me feel like I was home from day 1. I cannot wait to come back next year.

It is a very enriching experience. You get to know many beautiful places in the region and you learn a lot about the whole process of producing vegetables. Randy, Vern, and Shane are so kind, caring, and funny. A very familiar atmosphere is created and the food prepared is delicious. The work is not hard at all, you learn a lot and it can even be fun. Your experience will depend a lot on the other volunteers with whom you have to share this experience. In general, I think it is a very good option as your first volunteer and I recommend it 100%. I miss you guys, I'll be back one day :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I could not have asked for a better one. Vern, Randy, and Shane go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcomed, safe, cared for, and respected. The agreed-upon work hours (~10:00 AM - ~2:00 PM) are, indeed, the hours I worked, and the work itself was invigorating and rewarding. Outside of working hours, I got the chance to explore some of the most breathtaking scenery in Alaska, eat delicious food, and enjoy plenty of deep conversations with some of the best people I've ever met. Highly recommended!

This was my first Worldpackers trip as a 20 year old, female, traveling alone. Vern, Randy, and Shane made the experience so memorable and meaningful. It was lovely to watch how they made this “work” exchange into such a wonderful time. We ate AMAZING food everyday, went on lots of short trips, and saw some of the most beautiful scenery. There wasn't a second, during the month I was there, that I wished I hadn't come. I can't wait to return!!

This was such a wonderful experience and I have met a group of amazing people! Also I spent a memorable birthday over there and it was such a surprise which made me so moved and cried. One of the best parts is that I got a lot of chances to explore nature which makes me fall in love with Alaska! I still remember in the end Vern told us "remember here is always your sweet home." I will never forget how much warmness those people have given to me. I tried so many first-time things there and they definitely highlighted my whole life. All memories on the farm will be valuable in my mind forever!

This was my second stay at the farm Farms and it has quickly become like a second home to me. Each of my experiences was so different but equally fulfilling. Vern, Randy, and Shane go out of their way to make you feel at home, and will teach you all you want to know about organic farming.

I can't believe it's over. This was a beautiful experience. I will always be grateful for been part of this amazing project. I really connected with nature, the food was amazing, everyone was kind. I really felt at home.

I'm gonna say that I have no words to describe how it was my experience at the farm, as everybody says, because is the true! I had the most beautiful days in my entire life with the Farm Friends! Vern, Randy, Shane and Kat, you're like family for me and I really hope that I could express it! It's a life changing experience and isn't only about Alaska, is about who made this Alaska as it was! I felt home, belonging, embraced, respected, beloved! As a solo woman traveler, this changed all my concepts about how we deserve that in life! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! See you soon!!!

I don't know if we can call the experience as a "volunteer work" because it's so pleasant in so many ways that you can just count as one of the best experiences of your life. I have no words to thank Vern and Shane enough. These are the days I will keep forever in my heart. The farm has a wonderful view to the mountains, surrounded by nature (sometimes even see moose comes to the backyard!!) and they have the cutest and most loving cat on earth (little Moo 🤍). The food is just amazing and abundant. The house is cozy and you feel like home as soon as they pick you up at the airport. I loved!

My experience at the farm farms was amazing and more than I could have hoped for. I felt welcomed right away and had the best time working and exploring with Vern, Randy and Shane. So thankful to have this opportunity, I highly recommend.
