This was my second stay at the farm Farms and it has quickly become like a second home to me. Each of my experiences was so different but equally fulfilling. Vern, Randy, and Shane go out of their way to make you feel at home, and will teach you all you want to know about organic farming.

I can't believe it's over. This was a beautiful experience. I will always be grateful for been part of this amazing project. I really connected with nature, the food was amazing, everyone was kind. I really felt at home.

I'm gonna say that I have no words to describe how it was my experience at the farm, as everybody says, because is the true! I had the most beautiful days in my entire life with the Farm Friends! Vern, Randy, Shane and Kat, you're like family for me and I really hope that I could express it! It's a life changing experience and isn't only about Alaska, is about who made this Alaska as it was! I felt home, belonging, embraced, respected, beloved! As a solo woman traveler, this changed all my concepts about how we deserve that in life! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! See you soon!!!

I don't know if we can call the experience as a "volunteer work" because it's so pleasant in so many ways that you can just count as one of the best experiences of your life. I have no words to thank Vern and Shane enough. These are the days I will keep forever in my heart. The farm has a wonderful view to the mountains, surrounded by nature (sometimes even see moose comes to the backyard!!) and they have the cutest and most loving cat on earth (little Moo 🤍). The food is just amazing and abundant. The house is cozy and you feel like home as soon as they pick you up at the airport. I loved!

My experience at the farm farms was amazing and unforgettable. I enjoyed every moments that I spent there. And I had a lot of fun working with Vern, Randy and Shane. They are so kind and generous. And they cook like a 5 stars chef. So you may get some weights back home :) From day one I arrived, I feel over welcomed. This experience has changed many aspects in my life. It made me at somepoints a better person. That's how I feel. So I can't thank enough for this opportunity. I totally agree with my roommate Enoch, this is once lifetime experience for all travelers. I highly recommend.

It was a once in a lifetime experience getting to stay at the farm-picking lots of vegetables, going on hikes and adventures, watching the stars and the lights, and hanging out with Shane, Randy, and Vern. This is the place to be if you want to be surrounded by beautiful scenery and a warm community. It barely feels like work if you're having fun!

This experience was transformative in every aspect. Shane, Randy and Vern are amazing, helpful and understanding, always wanting you to have good time there. Nature is magic, food is great if you're vegan vegetarian, everything tastes amazing. Work wise, it is so much fun and relaxing to be harvesting and connecting with nature. The people you meet, the bonds you create are the highlight of it. You wont regret it!

The farm has been a wonderful experience for me in understanding what working on an organic farm can look like as well as living with others who share a similar passion for exploration. The amenities were as described and I got to eat lots of yummy organic veggies. Vern, Randy, and Shane were all super generous with their time, knowledge, and resources. Thankful to have been able to experience this opportunity in my lifetime.
