Volunteering at LDH for nearly 2 months was incredible . The location is unbeatable, and the team is so friendly. I worked ~20h/week, usually 2–3 days in a row, which gave me time to explore all Portugal .Huge thanks to Magda for her support and kindness. I met amazing volunteers and guests who became friends. If you're looking for a volunteer opportunity where you can socialize, explore Lisbon, and be part of an amazing team, I truly recommend. In general, it was a fantastic experience. I'm really thankful for it. Hopefully, we'll meet again one day))) Love&Peace

I stayed in Lisbon the hostel, but I feel like I can call it home now. Since the day I arrived I've been welcomed with open arms, the team made sure the welcoming energy stayed and they always checked in with me and my day. There are four different shifts, some harder than the other, but all fun! I would recommend this place to anyone open to learn and searching for a good time. Special thanks to the other volunteers for reminding me how effortlessly genuine friendships can start. I will come back for sure!!

I had at very good time at the hostel. The work is easy and not that much. If you're looking for an opportunity to explore Lisbon while not working to much, this is the place for you.

I had a really great time at Sunset the hostel in Lisbon! I met so many amazing people, and the atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The staff were all kind, and I felt very comfortable during my stay. The tasks were definitely manageable, and there was plenty of free time to enjoy the city. A special shoutout to Epi, who always made the guests feel welcome, and treated everyone with kindness. I would definitely love to come back again in the future, and I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience in Lisbon!

I had an amazing experience doing volunteer work. It was truly rewarding, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I got to meet incredible people, learn new things, and contribute to something meaningful. It felt great to be part of a team working towards a good cause, and I loved the positive energy around me. Overall, I had a wonderful time, and I would definitely do it again in the future!

I've spend a month in Lisbon the hostel and it was a great experience. The location of the hostel is perfect and there's always something to do in Lisbon. The work is what I expected and I had plenty of free time, so it was perfect to visit a little bit the country. The people who work there are super great and if you want to practice different languages is the perfect place. The only thing that wasn't great is that the hostel is big and people usually stay just for a few days, so it's not really easy to make some friends, but it still possible.

It was amazing!! It was my first experience and it couldn't have been better. The work I had to do was easy and exactly what was agreed on.everyone is super welcoming and I felt at home from the minute I arrived. I have met the most amazing people and had a lot of free time to explore the city. Also I had several days free in a row wich allowed me to travel and visit other cities that I really enjoyed. Overall it is a great experience and opportunity and I would 100% recommend. Thank you the hostel

I had a great month at the hostel, and would 100% recommend trying it out! The staff is genuinely so nice and welcoming, and the working hours felt very light. It was the perfect amount of work to get both free time but also insights and experience with the tasks. It's a very social hostel and you feel welcomed the second you arrive. It was my first experience with worldpackers and I'm so glad I did it because I learned a lot and made friends for life. Thank you!

People make the place — during the five weeks of my stay, I had the opportunity to be a volunteer for the first time in a country I've never been to before and the country itself, the culture, the job and the people I met were beyond my expectations 🩷 My time here was very well spent and pretty much worth it, so I just want to thank all the volunteers and staff for making this place (and my experience) so so amazing and fun!! i'm looking forward coming back to this hostel, to Portugal and specially in the future, reuniting with the friends i've made during this time thank you sunset! :)
