I had an amazing time at this hostel! From the very first day, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home. The staff — Albano, Fred, Sani, Pedro, and Rodrigo — were not only professional but also genuinely kind and always supportive. The work environment was excellent, and sharing this adventure with the other volunteers, Mateo, Niko, Hannah, and Sabrina, made it truly unforgettable. I also want to mention the bar team: Francisco, Gabriel, and Margarida, who added even more joy and energy to my days in Lisbon. Highly recommended!!

Working at the hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and I can absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to meet nice people and enjoys big cities! I worked for three days, then I had five days off to explore the area. I felt welcome by the entire team and the communication was also good :))

Sunset the hostel was my first volunteering experience and I'm really grateful for it. The staff was very welcoming and took time to explain the tasks, and the other volunteers were very friendly and made me feel like home. The shift are flexible and you have a lot of free time to explore Lisbon and Portugal. The hostel is very social, with many events and oppportunities to get to know peaple from all over the world. I highly recommend this experience and I would love to be back soon ❤️

I volunteered for a month at Lisbon the hostel and absolutely loved it! The staff at LDH is so amazing, everyone is so kind and welcoming to volunteers. It is a great community there. The shifts were reasonable, either doing reception, beds, or breakfast. They give you a lot of days off. Expect to work around 25 hours a week. The atmosphere is great there and the hostel is a very nice place to stay. I loved the location of the hostel, being right inside a train station is so cool. You don't hear any train station noise when you're inside, though! I highly recommend this host.

Sunset and Lisbon the hostel felt like home to me during this month! The staff carefully showed me what I had to do; the shifts always ended at the scheduled time, and everything was very simple and manageable. I had fun at the reception! I met people from all over the world, and the location of both hostels made life in Lisbon even easier. Even though my night-time arrival wasn't the best- my bed wasn't made and the receptionist didn't know where I was supposed to sleep- once I got to know the staff and the other volunteers better, I lived the experience with enthusiasm and joy!

It was my best Worldpackers experience so far. Everyone on the team was super kind and open. The hostel is perfectly located. The tasks were simple and there was plenty of free time. I'm really grateful for everyone I met during my time at Sunset Hostel. Can truly recommend it!🌞
