It was my best Worldpackers experience so far. Everyone on the team was super kind and open. The hostel is perfectly located. The tasks were simple and there was plenty of free time. I'm really grateful for everyone I met during my time at Sunset Hostel. Can truly recommend it!🌞

Volunteering at Lisbon the hostel was a good experience! The hostel is in good condition and the hours were respected. There was also some flexibility to trade shifts with the other volunteers if needed. There are 4 different shifts, breakfast, beds, and two reception shifts. The breakfast and bed shifts could sometimes be challenging for one person, but the staff were usually willing to help out.

I loved the experience and truly appreciated how kind and supportive the staff was throughout. During my volunteering, I met some amazing people and learned so much about the local language and culture. The staff was always friendly and patient, taking the time to explain tasks whenever someone needed help. This trip has taught me a lot, and I'm incredibly thankful for all the wonderful people I had the chance to meet along the way<3

My first volunteering experience and it was more than I could have hoped for. Each staff member welcomes you with open arms and becomes more friend than coworker during your stay. The hostel could not be located more central and everything is just a few steps away. I would definitely recommend to go there!! I will forever remember my time in Lisbon and dearly miss them.

I loved my time here! One month that felt like a week for the amazing thing i spent there. Forever gratefully with Magda for everything, and also for the people i met during my stay. I will never forget you all. Writing this from mu bus haha, i already miss you all!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Lisbon the hostel! The hostel is perfectly located and the staff is extremely friendly! Having access to the sister hostel is a big advantage and makes the experience even more special! I would totally recommend volunteering at this hostel :)

I stayed at the sunset hostel and really enjoyed my stay. There are some stuff that were unexpected. The rooms of the volunteers are not so good as they don't have windows and the beds shift are a bit hard for one person, I wouldn't recommend if you have back pain. Overall, the host was flexible and I really liked interacting with the stuff. We are a lot of volunteers which is fun and the location together with th terrace is amazing.

I had the most amazing time at the hostel; I can only recommend it from the bottom of my heart.💚 I have the great privilege of saying that I did not only find a place like home, but also friends that I now consider close family. The work is very manageable and more often than not very fun. If in any doubt, please don't hesitate to contact me and ask away! I'll be back, much love <3

Volunteering at Sunset the hostel for one month was truly an amazing experience. You get to meet a lot of people, learn new skills, and immerse yourself in an international atmosphere while working a reasonable number of hours per week. Having several days off in a row gives you the opportunity to explore other parts of Portugal. The staff is really cool and makes you feel welcome from the very first minute you're there. Sharing this adventure with fellow volunteers will give you lifelong memories, lots of laughs, and lasting friendships. Thank you Sunset
