I recommend this volunteer experience to anyone who wants to visit Leipzig. The tasks are not difficult and are done in a chill way. Hanna and Tanya are super kind, patient, and really good managers. The schedule is flexible if you need to change a day due to a particular situation. Volunteers have a very nice apartment separate from the guests, and there's a breakfast buffet every day.

My experience in the hostel was amazing! Hannah and the whole hostel staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I truly enjoyed crepes Thursdays, the amount of work is fair and not exhausting, very simple. The hostel is clean and organized. I recommend to volunteer there!

I had an amazing time in this place. I met so many amazing people from all around the world. Everybody was absolutely lovely, both staff and volunteers. Hannah was always there if i needed support. The dorm was nice and the work was not too hard. Leipzig is a really fun and beautiful city, and the hostel is in the middle of the city center. I will never forget this place and the people I met <3

My stay at the hostel has been wonderful. Leipzig is the perfect city to take a break during the summer. There's so much to do. Lakes, party, parks, etc. The other volunteers were wonderful, as well as the rest of the hostel workers. I made so many meaningful connections. The workload was fair and it allowed me to do everything I wanted. I'm really glad I spent most of my summer there and I can say for sure I will definetely come back at some point. Thank you for everything! 🙏🏻

Mi estancia en el five el hostel fue de algo más de un mes, desde el primer día fui muy bien recibida. El hostel está muy bien ubicado, en pleno centro de Leipzig y los trabajadores son muy amigables , enseguida te hacen sentir parte del equipo. El trabajo se ajusta a lo acordado y no es demasiado difícil. Además hay bastante flexibilidad para intercambiar días entre voluntarios. Los voluntarios sin duda han sido lo mejor de esta experiencia, me llevo muy buenos recuerdos y muy buenos amigos de este viaje.

El equipo del hostel me hizo sentir como en casa. Recomiendo muchísimo esta experiencia, sobre todo para practicar inglés, conocer a gente de todo el mundo y envolverte en la cultura y el ocio de Leipzig.

The hostel was an amazing volunteer experience in the heart of the city. The hostel is clean and modern. The volunteer dorm is large with a private bathroom, kitchen (in the same room as the beds) and roof top. Staff and HK were incredibly kind. Some days the work is quite heavy for 4 hours and extra tasks, and unfortunately there is no lounge area to watch TV together, though management is very helpful with anything that is needed and temporary solutions. Overall I would highly recommend.

Super great staff! Loved all the people I met and had a great group of volunteers working with me :) it was an amazing experience! You work 20 hours a week/the hostel days a week and the host was flexible with days off! The volunteer get their own little apartment which was super nice and the tasks weren't to hard! They stayed true to all things previously mentioned. Overall I would love to come back and already miss the people I met :)

I'm truly grateful for my time at this lovely hostel. As my very first volunteer experience through the platform and my first European city to visit,the hostel felt just like home to me. The other volunteers were like family,and I'm so thankful to Hannah for choosing me to be a part of her team. I'm also deeply grateful for all the people,experiences,and little moments I encountered here — I consider myself very lucky. I'm already looking forward to coming back to this hostel one day. Thank you,the hostel,for everything. I will never forget this experience 💛

I loved my time in Leipzig and at the hostel. The hosts are very kind and responsive to feedback, they took their time going through our responsibilities and what their expectations for volunteers were so there weren't any surprises going into the experience. As my first Worldpacker's experience, it set the bar very high.
