It was a pure pleasure to stay at the hostel in Bergen. From the first moment on I felt welcomed. The hole stuff is super friendly and kind. As volunteers we organized the activities for the guests like hikes, city tours, movie nights and so on. This was a great opportunity to meet other travelers. If you want to get in touch with the nature Bergen is the best place for a visit or a long-term stay. Thanks to everyone who made this to such a good experience. I'm really glad to spend my stay at the hostel.

My 6 weeks at the hostel have been incredible. The staff is incredibly kind and always ready to help. The environment it's very cozy, and it won't take long until you find yourself at home. You'll da LOT of hikes (with incredible views). You have a lot of freedom to arrange the activities as it fits you, as long as you coordinate with the other volunteers. You also have the chance to sleep in true norvegian cabin in the mountains, something I totally suggest. If you like talking and meeting new people and getting in touch with nature, this is the best opportunity you can get!

I really enjoyed spending August at the hostel! As volunteers we organized a lot of activities with the guests and It is a great opportunity to meet other travelers and get to know Bergen. Perfect if you love nature and hiking. We had a lot of flexibility to arrange the activities and you will feel as a team with the other volunteers very quickly. Also the environment in the hostel is amazing, everyone is very friendly and professional and you'll get to meet amazing people from the staff! I am very happy to have lived this experience in Norway.

It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was amazing. I got to meet so many people, from all around the world. I did so many hikes with friends and went to some really nice places. The hostel is so nice, everyone was so welcoming and I felt at home right from the beginning. If you have the opportunity to go there, please do, because it will be one of the best experiences of your life! Amarilis and Tony will be there to make sure that everything is fine, and if you need anything, they will help you. The staff of the hostel is also so caring and joyful. I already miss all of them ❤️

Experience at the hostel was amazing! I don't even have words to describe how I am grateful to my the hostel family. Every day we organized activities like hiking, guided city tours, movie nights etc. We had also coffee and cookies, our daily activity on which we can meet guests from around the world. Another thing that made this experience exceptional was working on Sundays in the cabin in the mountain. We were selling waffles there, met locals, sleep there and enjoy the lake and the boat. But the people were the most important part. The whole staff took care of us and I love them!

Have had such an awesome time volunteering in Norway. Would highly recommend this opportunity to anyone wanting to explore Norway, learn more about yourself, meet backpackers and have a great time in such a beautiful country. Norway is so beautiful and there is so much to see, this experience allowed me to learn about the Norwegian culture, weather and environment, alongside meeting many amazing people. The people involved in this opportunity welcomed me so warmly at each step of the experience. It felt like home very quickly, thanks to the chilled and positive attitude all around.

The hostel is truly a place that captures you. Volunteering here has been an amazing experience and I highly recommend it. I stayed at the hostel in low season so the hours were presumably more relaxed as it would be in high season, nevertheless, it was a perfect venue to volunteer. Jesper and the team were so warm and welcoming. the hostel itself is right at the foot of Mount ulriken so if you're a keen hiker, it's a perfect location. Also it's very clean and comfortable. Thank you once again!

Was the best summer i had, everyone in the staff were extremly kind and patient with me and all the volunteers. The hostel is so big, confy and has the most amazing views from Bergen, after jusr a few days i felt like home. A special thanks for Jesper and Tomas who made sure we had an amazing time and took such a good care of us.
