This was my first experience as a volunteer and it has set a high standard for the future ones. The host (Russell) is very kind and helpful, checking often if I was feeling comfortable with the tasks and the accommodation. The apartment is in a great location with lot of restaurants, bars and supermarkets close by. The job is easy to do and the students are nice and friendly, it's a great way to make new Korean friends and get to know the culture as the locals live it

The experience I had at the Language the coliving Daejeon was very enjoyable. Many of the local people were very welcoming and friendly, and I was able to have many interesting discussions with them. the coliving is a great way to meet people and also make friends, some of the participants would invite us for dinner or drinks, and I've met with one of them in another city after the program stopped. If you like talking and meeting people then I would recommend this experience. Daejeon is also a convenient place for day trips to other cities in SK.

Russel is welcoming and friendly. The job is interesting. We help Korean practice the coliving skills. I learned Korean culture through these conversations. The dorm is cozy. We have rice, noodles, corn flakes, eggs, vegetables and fruit. We cook for ourselves. Daejeon is not a busy city. There are not too many things to do, so there are not too many tourists here. The public transport is convenient here. You can take the bus or metro to the city center in Daejeon. You also can take the bus to other cities or towns.

I had such a great time in Daejeon! The accomodation is peaceful, clean and good grocery's to make your own food. One of the highlights of my stay was joining an English the coliving! The people were friendly, open, and genuinely interested in learning and sharing.

My Experience was amazing i I really enjoyed my stay and I like this volunteer work, it was so easy and simple Russell is the nicest and most considerate he always make sure everyone was happy and felt comfortable and safe. He always responds if we have any issues I like that he's very considerate to his volunteers, He provides lots of necessities at the Dorm from food to toiletries , I met so many amazing people .Daejeon is such a beautiful city I'm so glad I got the chance to visit this city, i will make sure to re visit. Thank you Russell.

All-in-all a great experience! The host (Russel) was really welcoming and accommodating whilst the surrounding area was nice with a slower pace. Getting to interact with locals at the studio from all backgrounds and careers was a great experience and allowed you to get a deeper understanding of the country!

The experience was incredible! I made a lot of Korean friends thanks to the volunteering and fell in love with Daejeon, it's a peaceful city, but with so many cool things to see and explore. It's a great opportunity to truly immerse yourself in Korean culture. Russell was also a great host and always supportive. I'll keep Daejeon in my heart.

Russell is a really friendly host who made sure we always had what we needed. As a Vegetarian I cooked most of the time for myself and therefore loved that stuff like cooking oil, Soysauce and some seasonings were provided as well! The Sessions weren't hard and the students all nice. Mo-Fr was 4h and Sat 3h of work per day. We had a lot of free time to enjoy the areas of Daejeon or even make daytrips to other nearby cities.

It was great to be a part of the language studio, where I got to know the local culture and people well by helping them improve their English. The host is very kind and makes sure that everything is okay, therefore my time there was really pleasant. Since Daejeon is a rather peaceful city, this opportunity is for you if you like a calm/relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the experience!
