This volunteering experience has been one of the best I've ever had. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of Koreans, learn more about their culture, and the hours at the guest house passed really quickly. The apartment is very small and Daejeon is not the best city in Korea, but I'll never forget my time hanging out with the students and Russel is one of the kindest persons I've ever met. He has a big heart and he cares a lot about leaving a beautiful memory to you. I appreciated it! I'll never forget my experience in Language Studio! :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was amazing! Russel was very kind and understanding when it came to schedules and plans for the week. I learned so much from the local students and created some great friendships with both locals and volunteers. Even in only 2 weeks you get very close to other members and students, getting to know a lot about other cultures. The actual work flies by as it feels like conversations with a friend. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a local and safe volunteer destination.

This is the first time that I da language the guest house volunteering and it was amazing! I learnt a lot about korean culture and I enjoyed a lot talking to different people. Russell is a very nice person and he is always there to help you in all you need. I hope I can come back in the future!! :)

I Never thought I would enjoy the time there so much, but it was one of a kind. Russell is the nicest person I've ever met and he took care of everyone so well. The experience in general was amazing and I would never regret doing all of this. I sadly had to leave a little bit earlier than planned but I would love to come back in the future. The people I met and worked with were super fun and I loved the city too. I can only recommend starting your journey there :)!

I had a great time in Daejeon! Russell was always ready to help. The apartment is just a short walk from the language studio, and the work hours allow for plenty of free time to explore the city. Overall, this program is an excellent opportunity to fully experience Korean culture.

Staying the guest house was truly an amazing experience. Russel is great and helps whenever somebody has a problem. The apartment is in a nice area of Daejeon and very close to the guest house. Working at the guest house is great and really helps you to get immersed in korean culture. Because work is only four hours per day, you still have more than enough free time to spend exploring Daejeon and the rest of Korea. I've made a lot of close friends, both through the guest house and the apartment. Overall I would highly recommend the experience!

Coming to work in the guest house and living the guest house was possibly the best choice I could've made during my trip to Korea. I wish I had stayed longer. The work is simple and very fun. Truly, working in Russell's the guest house was one of the most enriching experiences of my life. I had very detailed and in depth conversations with Korean students that frequently centered on cultural the guest house. Russell is a generous and welcoming host. He goes above and beyond for his volunteers. I would highly recommend this experience to any and see myself coming back in the near future!!!

This was a really enriching cultural immersion. Russell is super nice and assists you with anything you need to make sure that you're feeling comfortable and at home. I was having a great time with the other volunteers there. Definitely an experience to recommend!

To spend a month in Korea was one of my best decisions in my life. Daejeon and the Language Studio was great, and Russell is a fantastic host. He manages the Studio with accuracy, he is always there to help everybody in need. He creates good atmosphere and takes care of the details. Daejeon is vibrant, lot of things to see and experience. The apartment and the Studio is in the center, it gives the chance to the travellers to discover the city easily. I would recommend this place with hundred percent!

I really liked working at the guest house. Russell was a great host. He was kind and welcoming. He made sure to keep us safe and comfortable at the guest house. The people at the guest house are fantastic! The apartment has a washer. The apartment is nice but small. The shower and toilet are not separated so, everything will get soaked. The overall experience was fantastic!
