Living in el hostel was an amazing experience for me. I enjoyed the work there and the dogs that I miss already. Laura is a great person that encouraged me to go visit all the awesome places around Casitas. We always had great conversations at lunch time and she always made tasty food. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone. Mi experiencia en el hostel fue maravillosa. Laura es una gran persona, compartimos muchas grandes platicas durante la hora de la comida e hice una amiga en ella. Recomendaría a tod@s!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue excelente ! Mi estadía fue corta pero pude aprovecharla muy bien ! Laura y sus 4 perros me recibieron muy bien y me sentí parte de ellos muy rapido. Las tareas son sencillas y se disfrutan mucho ! Los perros son muy amigables y juguetones. Y la playa es hermosa y tiene atardeceres mágicos. Otra cosa para destacar es la comodidad donde se vive ! La habitación compartida y la cocina son muy cómodos y completos. Recomiendo este voluntariado ampliamente !

Pase super bien en el hostel del hostel, el trabajo está tranquilo y hay tiempo pa disfrutar la playita. Conoci personas increibles y Lau es una mujer inspiradora! Pero con certeza lo mejor de todo fueron los perritos, los extraño! 🐶🐕🐩🐺 jaja

Spending a week at the hostel with my girlfriend Tiffany made for an incredible first worldpackers experience! Our hosts, Laura and Ron, communicated our responsibilities clearly and welcomed us very warmly to their home. We really enjoyed walking the dogs on the beach, especially during the incredible colors of sunrise and sunset. We did a little painting, laid some bricks, and helped build bonfires for the guests. Perhaps the biggest highlight of the trip was sharing lunch each day with Laura, Ron, and the other volunteers. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Laura & her son Ronald were both incredibly loving, kind, flexible, and funny hosts. They both speak English very well and are great at communicating. The place is absolutely beautiful, cozy, calm, and right on the beach. It is the perfect mix of free time and activities to bond with the hosts and other volunteers and Laura has fantastic recommendations for activities around the town as well. I very much enjoyed helping out painting the roof, the daily gatherings at lunch, and relaxing at night and sharing stories and walking the four dogs at sunset and sunrise. I hope to come back, Much love!

El hostel fue mi primer voluntariado y fue la mejor decisión … es un lugar tranquilo, relajado, y con una espectacular vista a la playa, sus atardeceres son lo mejor… Agradezco la atención de mi anfitrión Ron y por sobretodo a Laura, quien me hizo parte de su hogar y eso se agradece infinitamente … solo me queda dar las GRACIAS! ☺️✨💚

This place is just amazing and Laura is the most nicest Person I have ever met! Her and Ronald tried everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I would recommend these two at any time!

It was amazing experience. We was planning to stay one week and in the end we stay 2 weeks and if we was having more time we would have stayed more. The place is amazing in front of the ocean. The work is fun, you need to help to build a wood caban but doesn't matter if you don't have the skills before, you learn, you try and you succeed and it feels really good. It can be wood work or paint or lots of different thinks. Also we was walking dos on the beach every day so really nice walks. The meal provided is usually lunch and big enough. The host is really really nice. You will enjoy !

Fue muy agradable recibir a Solene y Alexander, chicos muy agradables y siempre apoyando con la casa, hicieron un gran trabajo en la cabaña.

Laura es una mujer todoterreno que saca adelante el hostel y a sus 4 perros. Nos encantó disfrutar de aquella zona y de la compañía. Me quedo con las conversaciones con Laura y los otros voluntarios y algún huésped, además de disfrutar de la playa y de sus perros. Una pena que nos picaran muchos mosquitos y los últimos, que no paró de llover, no pudimos hacer casi nada y además con picores!!
