I had a really lovely time with Laura and all of the dogs! It was great to just be by the beach, da few hours of work doing all sorts of different odd jobs around the place and switching off. Tasks included fixing the fence, digging a few holes, and painting the new room. Highly recommend for people looking for somewhere to relax and do some easy work and stay with such a lovely host :)

Laura was an incredible host and I was welcomed so warmly there. It felt like family. The work was fun and very varied. I loved walking the dogs and the atmosphere was perfect. I was able to gain so many local impressions and explore the beautiful nature and the whole region. I would highly recommend it to everyone and I had a wonderful time there. Thank you so much for this amazing experience.

I can't thank Laura enough for this volunteering experience! This was my first time volunteering and I wouldn't change a thing. Laura is truly one of the kindest people I've met and I felt right at home because of the effort Laura puts in to making you comfortable. The hours are totally fair and Laura ensures you take days off too - whilst giving you plenty of recommendations for the best things to do, also helping to organise these! Laura makes you feel like you're family.

Laura and Ron are such compassionate souls, they treated me with a lot of love like family. Property is right by the beach, basic work duties include caring for the dogs and chores on the property. Every interaction is honest and truthful. Thank you Laura for stitching this bond with me, thank you Laura for creating such a valuable experience for me. Big hugs. 🤗

I had a lot of fun! Waking up every morning to walk the dogs on the beach, cooking, talking to the other volunteers, Laura and the guests, swimming and maintaining the place with simple chores was an amazing way to live for 3 weeks. Laura is amazing and takes care of everything you need. If you're lucky you might even da fun project like when we built the tipi (a small cabin).

This was my first WP trip to volunteer & spend Xmas away from home but Laura made it really positive with her kindness and great hospitality. I got exposed to local culture and language, and also that of other fantastic volunteers I met on this trip. This experience at Laura's made me want to do more volunteering around the world and connect with locals and international travelers. I loved every moment at Laura and will want to come again in the near future. I learnt so much including nurturing the dogs and Laura made it all so easy. She is understanding & has humanity I real felt at home

This is second time volunteering with Laura. I first meet her in 2022 and decided to visit again. Laura is kind, considerate, and welcoming. She has no problem accommodating any need you have and she treats you like her own. She even bought me a cake for my birthday. Work is 4 hours a day. Expect your work days to start at 7am daily. The dogs are adorable and remembered me from my first visit. Keep in mind you will share a room with your fellow volunteers and prepare to be respectful of their needs also. I have noticed it's best to work with a diverse group from all different countries.

We had a wonderful time with Laura at the hostel. The beach is literally your garden, we had nice chats, delicious food and the dogs are lovely . The work consists mostly in walking the dogs on the beach in the morning and afternoon ,help with maintenance and gardening . Laura is really nice and if you need anything she is always there for you . She also very strict about not exceeding your working hours.

Laura the host is so nice and wants you to have a great time at "la costa esmeralda". Only 4 hours work a day and the tasks are doable for basically everyone. E.g. walking the dogs, cleaning the beach, work in the garden or cooking lunch for the other volunteers etc.. Her four dogs are so cute and lovely and make the time there even better. Unfortunately i had my stay after it rained so much in the country, that the rivers did flood a lot of trash and dirty water to the ocean, what resulted in a not that clear seawater and a lot of plastic trash on the beach. It's still a nice and calm place.

Laura is a woman ahead of her time, she is very patient and great at cooking. She is very kind and a great representative for Mexico. There are some early morning dog walks but it's nice to see the sunrise. The tasks given are not difficult and do not take too long either. I really enjoyed my time here, swimming everyday and just generally relaxing. The facilities are all working. If you come here you will need: Bug spray Sun cream
