Experiência sensacional, Emily é uma anfitriã muito boa, sempre disponível e flexível com dias e horas de trabalho. São 31 cães, a maioria com alguma necessidade especial, parece obvio, mas precisa gostar de cachorro e não se importar de dividir seu espaço com eles. O trabalho não é pesado e sobra muito tempo, é dividido basicamente durante a manhã e meio da tarde, não são horas seguidas, mas tudo é conversável. É um estilo de vida bem calmo, a cidade é pequena e não possui muitas coisas para fazer, mas da pra aproveitar e muito as belas paisagens do lugar, dar uma desacelerada.

Gustavo was a fantastic volunteer! He was super reliable, hardworking, and always willing to go the extra mile. He brought great energy to the team and was easy to work with. We really appreciated everything he did and would love to have him back anytime!

Uma experiência incrível!! Todos os voluntários são maravilhosos, nos tornamos uma família e dividimos as tarefas de forma tranquila! Os cachorros são lindos, muito amáveis e adoram receber carinhos! Realizamos tarefas relacionadas ao cuidado dos cachorros e manutenção do refúgio, tudo em equipe! Fabrizio tem uma energia incrível e muito amor pelos cachorros, o que torna tudo mais leve! Uma experiência linda que super indico :)

A vivência que tive no refugio foi incrível. A equipe foi incrível, pudemos compartilhar dos melhores momentos juntos. Os cachorros são ótimos e o trabalho é todo coordenado e feito em equipe.

The shelteris a beautiful place. I spent five weeks there, and it was a truly wonderful time. I was welcomed incredibly warmly—everyone is so kind and genuine. The dogs are amazing, and Emily takes care of them with so much love. Angus is also very warm and open. I really enjoyed my stay. The work was relaxed, and there was plenty of time to explore the surroundings. I would recommend this place to everyone, as it is truly special. The dogs, in particular, find their way into your heart so quickly. I will miss them all very much.❤️

My experience here was one I will cherish closely. Emily was a great host & the work she is doing here is truly inspiring. It broke my heart leaving because I formed so much love for these dogs at the shelter & they are truly deserving of all the tenderness any volunteer can give them. If you have a compassionate heart & love animals you will without a doubt enjoy your time here. I hope I can come back again one day!

The whole experience was lovely. Emily and Angus are really kind, understanding and open and I was really happy to be able to spend so much time with the animals. The dogs are really lovely and i missed them the Second i left. If i ever have the opportunity I will definitly go back!

Had a great time here. Shelter is really well ran and the dogs are great. Emily owns the shelter whilst Angus manages the day-to-day, both do an excellent job. Urubamba and the Sacred Valley are really cool areas with a lot to explore and do in your spare time. If you're interested in a hands on job where you get to care for dogs in a really cool area then this would be great for you.

Connor fit right in from day one. Super easy to be around, great with the dogs, and he was useful keeping the dogs quiet at night so Angus could have a night off :) We really appreciated having him here.

It was the best experience, the project tothe shelter and help the dogs is really well managed. We worked with a incredible team to be here for the dogs all day. The feeding, the cleaning tasks, the walks with the dogs, everything is well organised. I've learn so much being in contact all day with the dogs. Leaving them was the worst part.

It was a truly amazing experience. Emily basically lives for helping the dogs in the house and the ones in the city/region. At times it can be challenging if you never have worked in a dog shelter before, but you'll be rewarded times 1000 by dog smiles and the impact you had. Definitely recommend, I wish I had stayed longer!

Jonathan was such a trooper. He arrived during a really intense first day and handled it with so much resilience. I honestly wasn’t sure if he’d stay after that, but he did, and we’re so glad he did! He showed real dedication, had a great attitude, and became a solid, positive part of the team. We really appreciated having him here. 🐾
