My experience at the monks the hostel was incredible, in my case I was in charge of the activities, so the work was really good and not a lot of hours. I recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you for everything 🩷

Fue mi primer voluntariado y la experiencia no pudo ser mejor. La relación con los voluntarios fue buenísima, hacíamos muchos planes juntos en nuestros días libres e incluso nos dio tiempo a viajar a otros países. En cuanto al trabajo no tengo ninguna queja. Se respetan los horarios y las tareas son muy sencillas. De todas formas, el staff siempre estará dispuesto a ayudar ante cualquier duda. Por otra parte, si os gustan las fiestas y conocer gente nueva este es el sitio perfecto ya que todos los fines de semana estaréis bastante entretenidos 😊.

What a fantastic volunteer experience! I spent nearly two months working as a party promoter/pub crawl leader at the Munks the hostel, and I have nothing but amazing things to say! The working hours were incredibly flexible and reasonable, and there was plenty of time to explore Estonia and isurrounding countries. I was immediately welcomed, and everyone quickly became family (there were daily staff dinners and regular events for us to hang out). There truly was never a dull moment. If you are social, love to party, and want to get to know several like-minded backpackers, this is the place for you!

I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at this hostel in Estonia, with my friends, and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I met amazing people from all over the world. The staff was friendly and supportive, making my time there even more enjoyable. I loved exploring the beautiful surroundings during my free time, and the sense of community among the volunteers was truly special. The workload is very manageable, and they are also flexible with the schedules. We highly recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking for a memorable adventure!

Ha sido mi primera vez en un hostel y me ha encantado. He mejorado mi inglés y he conectado con viajeros internacionales. Las tareas del hostel eran fáciles, algunas de las cuales consistían en limpiar las habitaciones, las zonas comunes, los baños.... Había muy buen ambiente de trabajo, el grupo de voluntari@s con el que estuve era maravilloso prácticamente cada día hacíamos algún plan para salir. El host nos ofrecía entradas gratuitas a los pub crawls y descuentos en las bebidas. Por lo que hace a la comida nunca pasé hambre, eso sí la comida no era muy variada.

Ha sido increíble!!!! Era mi primer voluntariado y ha superado con muchas creces mis expectativas. Todo el personal del Staff ha sido súper acogedor y divertido, hago especial mención a Baran y Adnen, unos recepcionistas maravillosos que han hecho del hostal un hogar. Jordy siempre estaba muy pendiente de que todos los voluntarios estuviésemos a gusto y que tuviésemos suficiente comida (nunca faltó de nada). Los horarios se respetaron en todo momento y el trabajo para nada era estresante, al final hasta se le coge el gustillo. Mil gracias The Monks el hostel por esta experiencia!!!❤️

I stayed for one month in the hostel in Tallinn and had a great time. Everything was communicated well between management and volunteers. The activities were fun and I had lots of free time to spend in the city or at the nearby beach. I got so well with the other volunteers and made the best memories.

If you are looking for a fun, welcoming, and party-filled volunteering opportunity, then this is perfect for you!! When you work here, you become part of a family. This was my first time working in a hostel, and I loved every second. Jordy was so helpful throughout the entire process; he was very communicative and organized. I 100% recommend working for the hostel. Tallinn is such a great city, and it was so easy to travel to nearby countries.

I had an amazing time in Tallinn, the staff and other volunteers made me feel at home right away, and the city is so lovely! It was such an enriching experience, you'll get to make lots of connections with travelers and guests, the tasks are very easy and the events you can take part in are just so much fun! Overall I got to practice my English a lot, my social skills and meet wonderful people! I'm very grateful I got to be part of this community! Highly recommend the hostel!!
