You need to be prepared to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks in a hostel. If you don't have the experience and physical strength, you might not be able to manage, or the host might not approve you. This requires further investigation, I believe.

I had a mixed experience. As mentioned before, the lack of communication/organization create stressfull and unnecessary situations. The daily tasks and the weekly job hours were not as described. In fact, they match with the other volunteer function offered, so this is a simple problem that can be solved easily. The daily taks includes helping in the breakfast shift and social dinner (night shift) and putting bed sheets in the rooms, really smooth. Since you're sharing room with other guests, I would recommend this place for 2-3 weeks maximum, otherwise you will start getting exhausted.

Had a very nice and quick time at the hostel! The hosts did make some last minute changes to the schedule but quickly accommodated my issues with said changes and were very respectful :) As long as you communicate your needs fully to the host, ask questions instead of making assumptions, and come with a good attitude, everything will run smoothly. Thank you very much for having me!!

El lugar es muy bueno, y la gente que forma parte del equipo del hostel son todas personas muy agradables con las que uno se siente muy cómodo, las tareas y horarios coinciden con lo que dice la publicación. En lo personal tuve una mala experiencia con otro voluntario y por suerte la buena onda del equipo del hostel hicieron que no fuera un pesar la situación !

My experience at the hostel was quick but I loved staying there! I arrived in the low season, so most of the days I worked less than the 5 hours. The hostel is super clean! Peschiera del Garda It's a beautiful place and I really want to go back in the summer to enjoy the lake and the whole summer vibe. The staff was easy to deal with. Thanks to all, I hope to see you guys in the future! :)

Fue mi primer voluntariado y fue una experiencia MAGNÍFICA! Me encantó ser voluntaria. Aprendí muchísimo, compartí momentos increíbles y me llevo lindos recuerdos para siempre.El grupo de trabajo es espectacular! Ale es muy simpática y te ayuda en todo. Matteo y Alessio cocinan muy muy rico, siempre tienen historias para contar y son muy generosos. Gracias también a Silvia por la estadía! Las instalaciones del Hostel son modernas, tiene espacios muy amplios para distenderse, es muy limpio y trabajan personas muy buenas. Staying at the hostel was my first experience but I don't know if I could wish for a better one The atmosphere in the whole place is amazing and the staff is always willing to help Especially I have to mention Alessio who always helps the volunteers and the girls from the reception are the loveliest in all Peschiera Hostel is in a perfect location you can spend your free time discovering nature and cities Working with other volunteers was a pleasure and an opportunity to meet wonderful people from all over the world I'm very grateful for all the time and people I met at the hostel Grazie!!!

This experience was everything you could dream of as a volunteer. As soon as you open the door, you feel the atmosphere and realize that this place is home. Peschiera is in a great location, you can reach everything and have enough time to explore Northern Italy. I met so many wonderful people here, the entire staff is full of charismatic and exceptional people, and I had a best time with the other volunteers. You will understand cultural things like organizations, communication and information sharing is not the priority, but relax and enjoy every moment . ❤️

The hostel has a great vibe and most everyone working there is extremely kind and friendly. Fantastic location, you can spend your free time exploring the lake or taking day trips to nearby cities. In general, it's everything you could want from a work exchange. Only 2 small downsides: 1) they don't put up volunteers separately from guests, so during your stay you'll probably be sharing a room with a weirdo or drunk for at least a bit. 2) Some disorganization, like communication of procedures was sometimes contradictory (or belated), but they don't take it personally and neither should you.

My time in Meet Garda Hostel was lovely, all the staff are really nice, thanks to Alessio and Mateo that made this experience even more wonderful and the girls in reception that would always have a big smile for you. Work sometimes is hard but schedule is always fixed and you get helped. I made life-time friends with the other volunteers and every day was a dream. All lake garda is beutiful and you have tons of free time to explore and enjoy. I hope to come back one day. The few issues we had mostly with the security guard were talked and everyone wass very understanding.
