A experiência trouxe muitos aprendizados e acho que tudo que fazemos em nossas vidas agrega. Eu fiquei no shift da recepção, pude praticar o inglês tanto com os outros voluntários como com os hóspedes fazendo check in. Fui muito bem recebida por um dos voluntários, o Djilas que me passou todas as informações necessárias e me ajudou a me instalar e com tudo que precisei.

O hostel é muito legal, uma casa grande que constitui uma família mesmo, daquela que se reúne para comer na mesa da cozinha e por os papos em dia! o staff foi a melhor parte de toda experiência, fiz amigos pra vida ali! a Irlanda é realmente uma ilha chuvosa o que dificulta passeios e trips a mercê do tempo! o voluntariado é praticamente limpeza para quem não fala inglês e recepção para quem fala inglês. mas se você se dedicar sempre poderá praticar inglês com quem está na casa ;)

Volunteering at the hostel was my first volunteer experience, and I could not have wished for a better one! Working hours are respected and flexible, work is interesting and motivating, and staying there is fun. The best part is meeting other people and making connections, and I am so happy to say that I met the nicest people ever there! Rory is an awesome host and I will miss the other volunteers dearly. Thanks for everything <3

The hostel Starts was a home outside Brazil. It's a incredible place to create bonds, learning compassion, respect and understanding how powerful friendship can be. Rory makes every volunteer feel comfortable in the hostel as it was our home. He, the volunteers the hostel guests become like a family to me, everybody supports each other in that place. The job and hours are easy and you still have a lot of time to enjoy the rest of the day. I love that I was able to stay for two months and I will always recommend this experience.

It was my first time with Worldpackers and also my first real experience abroad for a month. I was a bit afraid, but I felt at home from day one at the hostel! Rory the hostel volunteers were super friendly and welcoming. The job is not difficult, with flexible schedules and two days off each week. You can help plan the rota to organize your free time. The hostel is well located, close to the center and train station. This wonderful experience helped me improve my English and meet many people and cultures. I'll carry this place, the other volunteers, and Ireland forever in my heart!

This was an amazing experience! I connected deeply with several other volunteers the hostel energy was so welcoming and lovely. The work is extremely fair, and we have plenty of food and accommodations. Everyone's personal preferences are respected, the hostel team all works really well together and makes the guests feel welcomed. This trip was really impactful for me. Just be prepared for a lot of ruckus, especially if you work remotely. Also, Rory was a great host. Super helpful and attentive and very passionate about the hostel.

It was an amazing experience for me at the hostel! The hostel is very nice place it feels like home ans also just north of Dublin and not too far from Belfast ! The tasks are well distributed, flexible, and easy to understand from the start. I met some amazing people, and Rory is super friendly if you need anything, he's always available and attentive.
