The hostel was a lovely experience overall! I loved the social aspect and meeting other volunteers/travelers. Matea and Dario were great hosts; but because there's recently been a shift in management, each day had the potential to be quite unorganized. The tasks were easy; however I do wish that the training was a bit more concise. There were many cases of the receptionists/housekeepers getting mad at the volunteers for not doing a task that the volunteers were unaware that they had to do. This seemed to clear up a lot towards the end of my stay though!! Overall, amazing experience :)

This was my first volunteer experience and it was truly a wonderful experience. In the 2 months I spent here I met the most incredible people. From the other volunteers/staff to the guests from around the world coming in and out. The owners Matea and Dario were amazing hosts! Really understanding and helpful. The volunteer work is basic cleaning, laundry, checking in and taking guests out on activities. I had so much fun and enjoyed my time here. I would do it all over again!

Had an unforgettable time with some amazing people at the hostel. The hostel volunteers and staff are so welcoming, the best part is the nightly activities where you can meet so many cool people from all over the world. Besides the hostel Dubrovnik is a world class destination, highly recommend!

Stayed from 30th March until 24th June this summer and have to say this is one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my life. The whole dynamic of the hostel is perfect, the owners Dario and Matea really looked after us and are generally great at their jobs! Goes without saying Dubrovnik is a beautiful place and it would be difficult not to enjoy it, but having such a fun and friendly working environment really puts the cherry on the cake. Work didn't seem like work! Of course there were some responsibilities to take care of but all tasks were enjoyable :) Thank you for this experience

Matea is the kindest person to work for! I had the best experience volunteering here. The hostel is so well kept so it also makes living here extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Great space, fantastic kitchen, good clean bathrooms and showers. Great location in the hostel too! I would recommend this volunteer job to anyone. The other volunteers that I worked with and I really bonded and this hostel gave us a feeling of home. Thank you so much Matea for everything! I know I will be back someday!

The hostel is a gem of a place and I couldn't recommend it more! The hosts were lovely and made it feel like a home away from home. The hostel is small, incredibly clean and in a perfect location for exploring Dubrovnik. The tasks were super easy and mainly included reception but it left you with plenty of free time to explore Dubrovnik or use your 2-3 days off to see other parts of Croatia. Anamarija was always there to help and I couldn't thank her more for giving this opportunity. I made some amazing friends and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again! 😊

Would 10/10 recommend volunteering at Hostel Angellina. The work is easy and the hours are fair. You have plenty of time to explore and do everything you want. The hostel is very clean and homey. Real easy to meet other travellers. The other volunteers and guests made my experience amazing and so much fun. Perfect location in the hostel, you won't run out of fun things to do. Dubrovnik is the best, definitely volunteer here!

This was my first volunteer experience in a hostel and it was amazing!! I had the best time ever in a great hostel, location and team! ! Dubrivnik is a really nice city with great weather year round and I got to meet and socialise with guests from all around the world. The job was easy and the best times was taking guests on awesome tours such as secret beaches, cliff jumping and abandoned hotels! Special mention to the hostel manager Ana Maria who was the best boss ever and made me feel very welcome and part of the team! Overall I had a great experience here and would highly recommend 👌 😊

An amazing place to live and a lovely team to work with in the hostel. The living dorms were comfortable and well facilitated we had a great time. The work is simple but can be physically demanding with a lot of going up and down the hostel with loads of laundry as well as dealing with a few hygiene issues that I wasn't too happy with. But over all it's character building haha and one of the best experiences I've had living in this incredible place. Thanks for having me :)

The team and volunteers that were at the time I was staying made it an amazing experience. The house provided by the owners was beautiful and comfortable. Property is lacking management as I only saw the owners once. They were very disorganized and sent the schedule super late and also expected volunteers to deal with the laundry that had bed bugs. Dubrovnik is absolutely beautiful and overall I had a good experience
